12 daily wear pink lipsticks for Indian skin tone
It’s been long since I did a post on some daily wear/everyday lipsticks.
Yeah! Maybe, I should do one.
Opens similar blog posts on her blog and goes through the lipsticks mentioned in them. Makes a mental note to not include them in the upcoming post.
Pulls out her vanity case, drawers and her lipsticks stands and puts them on her bed.
Grabs a packet of uncle chips. Strawberry slush is also a good idea.
Sits and goes through them for what seems like hours. Chooses 20 and puts them in a pouch so that it’s easier to remember.
Day 1 passes.
Does the same things on day 2 too. Wonders why it’s so tough to pick only a few lipsticks out of the lot.
On day 3, decides to write down the post first and photograph them later. Realizes it’s been an hour since she opened Pinterest.
Opens word document and stares at it for a long time before finally closing it.
Grabs a book.
Day 4 passes. Day 5 too.
Realizes motivation isn’t going to come. So, forces herself to sit down, write and then, finally photograph.
Can’t stop crying now.
I did it! Yes, I finally did a post on daily wear pink lipsticks for Indian skin tone. Someone please give me a box of tissues, a cadbury oreo chocolate, a bowl of warm popcorns and a Dunkin donut chocolate dunkaccino.
This Note cosmetics lipstick is a beautiful brownie pink (more pink on my skin tone) with a very comfortable texture especially for those with dry lips. It’s not exactly light-weight but doesn’t feel very heavy either. It lasts for a maximum of 3 hours on me which is decent given the nature of its texture.
Price in India: Rs.450 for 4.5gm
If you are in the market for an everyday pink that’s also affordable, check it out. This crayon is one of the best daily wear pink lipsticks for Indian skin tone. It glides on easily and offer a near to full coverage for non-pigmented lips. However, the coverage won’t be that good for people with pigmented lips. As for longevity, it lasts for 4 hours with light meals in between. Product wastage is the only issue I see here.
Every crayon comes with a free sharpener. Don’t forget to ask for yours.
Price in India: Rs.185 for 2.2gm
This shade will work amazingly well for medium Indian skin tone as a daily wear pink. Given the cost, the texture is decent and the color pay off is good.

This pink lipstick from CAL Los Angeles will suit fair-medium skin tones. It offers a matte finish and applies best when lips are soaked in oil/balm 15 minutes prior to applying it. It sets well and lasts for long.

I forgot to include it in pictures.
Contrary to the name, it’s a peachy pink lipstick on my skin tone. For wheatish and medium complexion, this might work if worn under a deeper shade lip liner or mixed with any other color. The texture is soft and glides easily on the lips. The only downside I find here is that it’s not long-lasting as per the claims made.
Price in India: Rs.495 for 3.7gm
I don’t like it as a gradient lipstick. But when worn with the colors mixed together, the result is a light pink shade which sits perfectly on my skin tone.
Basically, I find it a pigmented upgrade to a tinted lip balm with a better staying power. And the delicious fruity smell! Ah!

This is one of my top 10 used lip colors and I’m on my second one now. It’s a gorgeous brownish pink with a matte finish. It’s the perfect mix of brown and pink. If you have dry lips in general, you might want to top it with a balm or a transparent gloss. For me, I like to wear it on its own. I louuuuuu it!

One of my most used tinted lip balms. It’s a transparent looking balm which changes color upon coming into contact with the skin. On me, it’s a daily pink shade. When blotted once, the tint stays for 4+ hours. Awesome, right?
If you aren’t used to wearing lipsticks, you can start from this one.

Availability is always an issue with Elle18 products but if you know of a shop nearby your house that sells Elle18 products, do go and have a look at this shade.
Just look at the shade! It screams summers! For the first 3-4 months, the texture was good. It went on smoothly and felt moisturizing. However, the bullet hardened a bit with passage of time. Not to the extent of pulling your lighter out. Just thought you should know.
