Hey, my name is Heena and I live in India. I have done my MBA in marketing and been managing my blog alongside my full-time job.
I started my Indian Makeup and Beauty Blog- Vanitycasebox, in 2012 to help women entering into the world of beauty or already into it shop wisely by providing on-point reviews. You’ll also find me posting uncategorized stuff and easy-to-understand makeup tips and tricks using affordable products so that you don’t have to visit a salon every time you have a function to attend.
If you’re new to the world of makeup and wondering where to start, check this post on basic makeup kit for beginners in India.
I also share my obsession for jewellery and accessories here. I love how the right ones can help bring an outfit together and breathe a new life into even the most basic clothing pieces. No wonder, you will come across quite a lot of shopping hauls here.
I also like doing comparison posts like the best bb cream in India to help you make better decisions. I’m not a professional but I try to give the best beauty suggestions as per my experience and knowledge.

My Beauty Profile
Skin Tone: Varies between NC25-NC30. (Depends on how tanned I am)
Skin Type: Super oily prone to dry patches (which makes applying makeup a tricky business). It’s gets a little less oily in the cold weather, oily nonetheless.
Skin Concerns: Large open pores, acne prone, dehydrated and very sensitive skin that also gets tanned very easily!
Hair type: Wavy, frizzy, dry hair with oily scalp. Eeks! (I swear by homemade oils and deep nourishment masks)
Your comments and participation would make this all worthwhile. I hope you enjoy this place as much as I enjoy creating it.
