Note Cosmetics Ultra Rich Color Lipstick Brownie Pink: Review

in Lips, Lipstick on 25/05/17

My first encounter with Note cosmetics was a few months ago. I loved the look of their matte foundations and began swatching the shades. Unfortunately, the shade I chose for my skin tone wasn’t available. I told myself that I’ll purchase it the next time I visit the store. When I did, it still wasn’t available and it’s during that time, I explored more and got myself a few products from them. Reviewing a lipstick from this brand which should be a hit among people with dry lips- Note cosmetics ultra rich color lipstick brownie pink.

Note Rich Color Lipstick review

Product description:

It gives smooth appearence to lips by reducing fine lines on lip contour. It protects and nourishes lips with argan oil and cocoa butter. Its special formula gives dense color to lips. Argan Oil and Cocoa Butter; moisturizes and helps revitalizes with vitamin E, protects lips against free radicals and enviromental factors, fast absorbtion and dense moisturizing features makes lips smooth, soft and silky.

My experience with Note cosmetics ultra rich color lipstick brownie pink:

Packaging: The lipstick is housed in a black cardboard packaging with the necessary details mentioned on it. The actual lipstick has a black color body in a matte finish with the shade name mentioned at the bottom of it. The cap closes properly and I quite like the shape of the bullet. It works as a lip liner too.

Texture: If you are after a lipstick that doesn’t dry your lips, you definitely need to try out this range. Note cosmetics ultra rich color lipstick brownie pink has a rich creamy texture without being too slippery. It doesn’t have a weightless formula- you can feel it on your lips but not to the extent of being reminded about it constantly. It does makes lips look smooth as it does a decent job at blurring the lip lines. It hydrates the lips throughout the day.

Shade: Note cosmetics ultra rich color lipstick brownie pink is a brownish pink (more pink) which sits beautifully on light complexion. I think it may wash out people with a medium warm complexion.

Pigmentation: The shade is nearly opaque but it does have some translucency which allows the natural color of lips to peek through. The color goes on evenly and smoothly.

Staying power: It lasts around 2.5- 3 hours or so on me, provided I’m not gulping down multiple cups of coffee.

Summary:

Note cosmetics ultra rich color lipstick brownie pink is a pretty everyday shade with a very comfortable texture especially for those with dry lips. It’s not exactly light-weight but doesn’t feel very heavy either. It lasts for a maximum of 3 hours on me which is decent given the nature of its texture.
