Kickstarting the “everyday lipsticks” series with a crayon from a brand whose sunscreens are famous than its cosmetics..hehe! Introducing Lotus Herbals colorstylo chubby lip color Nude Blush which has caught the attention of quite a few ladies at my office.

My experience with Lotus Lotus Herbals colorstylo chubby lip color Nude Blush:

Packaging: Lotus Herbals colorstylo chubby lip color comes in a color-coded packaging with a retractable mechanism to avoid product wastage. Even the cap is transparent to help you identify the shade without opening it. The brand name is mentioned on the body and the shade name is given at the bottom of it.

Texture: It has a creamy and smooth consistency which glides on lips like butter. Given how buttery the texture, it is easy to go outside the lines. So, be careful. I was afraid that it might smudge on my oily skin but it didn’t. The finish is glossy although the shine does tend to wear down after an hour or so.

Shade: Lotus Herbals colorstylo chubby lip color Nude Blush is a “peachy pink” which I see working mostly only for women with fair-light skin tone.

Pigmentation: It has a nearly opaque pigmentation. But on pigmented lips, it will require 2-3 swipes to show up properly.

Staying power: The color wore well for 3 hours and felt moisturizing throughout the entire period. A touch-up is definitely required after having a full meal as most of the shade is gone. Also, given the nature of the formula, it does tend to settle into lip lines but not in an overly bad manner.

I’m disappointed as the brand claims it to be a long-lasting formula but it isn’t.

Summary:

Lotus Herbals colorstylo chubby lip color Nude Blush is a beautiful, everyday lipstick for fair complexion. For wheatish and medium complexion, this might work if worn under a deeper shade lip liner or mixed with any other color. The texture is soft and glides easily on the lips. The only downside I find here is that it’s not long-lasting as per the claims made.
