3-4 years back, it didn’t take me very long to order from a menu. The reason being the choices weren’t many and it didn’t take ages to understand what a dish was about. Fast-forward this situation to today where most of the food menus look nothing less than a puzzle. On days I’m completely confused and tired from thinking what drink to order, I always go with my classic one i.e. Virgin Mojito. Yum!

I showed this in my post on the best eyeliners in India. Forget of being smudge-proof, I wasn’t expecting it to stay on my oily eyelids even for some 4-5 hours. But it stayed for pretty long and smudged minutely only from my watery eye corners. I was totally surprised. Even as a kajal, it works well.

I haven’t come across a kajal/eyeliner which works so well at this price point.

Maybelline hyper glossy liquid eyeliner

On days I want extra staying power from my eyeliner, I go for this eyeliner hack. They are amazing for an “improved version of your eyelashes” and don’t smudge as long as you powder your under-eye area well. The blue one is too gorgeous and a pleasant change from the black one.

Another contender from Maybelline 😛 Just 3-4 swipes reveal a pink tint which doesn’t need re-application every hour. The “Pink Blossom” variant is a bright pink shade, a better choice for those with pigmented lips.

Nice texture, rich color payoff, good staying power, awesome shade selection and affordable! One of the many long stay lipsticks in Indian market below Rs.500.

Kryolan supra colors

Kryolan supra color range is amazing if you’re after budget makeup products for beginners in India.

I showed one in shade 303, orange in my tutorial on how to conceal dark circles using affordable products. I have them in 4-5 shades and I don’t know what I would do without them. Probably breaking my bank. On days my skin goes flaky and I need extra coverage, I use these ones first and then, follow up with a layer of a liquid foundation. The result is beautiful. But there’s definitely a learning curve with them if your aim is to use them as a foundation. You can buy them even if you want green or orange correctors that are not pricey.

Ponds BB cream

For me, this one is still the best BB cream in India. Medium coverage, decent oil control and good texture.
