My experience:
This time Maybelline has introduced 5 new gorgeous shades in their hyper glossy liquid eyeliner – deep purple, blue, silver, gold and green. And, with a stone kept on my heart, I purchased only two. My friend purchased another 2 shades from it.
Their packaging is same as before except for the colored bottoms, which makes it an easy process to identify them among the lot. The previous hyperglossy liquid eyeliner in “blue” (Check HERE) was entirely black in body which led to confusion. But it’s not the case here.


Both these colored eyeliners are such gorgeous shades. They are metallic, shiny and bright! The brush is thin and picks up enough quantity in one go to do one eye. Also, the bristles are firmly packed which means you can easily draw neat lines with it. The appropriate length of the handle also lets me apply it without any difficulty. The pigmentation is pretty good. All I need is one stroke and I’m done. It dries fast and gives such a lovely glossy finish. Regarding the staying power, it’s pretty awesome on my oily eyelids. They stayed on for more than 10 hours on my eyelids without any fading. But in a humid environment combined with my super oily face, it does tend to fade a bit from the outer corners. It’s water-resistant but not water proof.


Make sure to close the bottle tightly each time you use it, otherwise it starts to dry a little and form clumps.


I had been particularly searching for such a silver metallic liquid eyeliner from quite some time and ah! I feel so good now!

    Beautiful eye pictures dear.. BTW do u think they look like a crushed metallic paper if applied in a thick layer.. Most of the metallic liners has such issue.. So just wanna know.. 😛
