“Rs.300 And under” Good Indian Makeup Products!

in Others, Tips and Tricks on 03/09/13

Nothing thrills me as much as the launch of new affordable products in Indian market that are so worth their cost! The feeling of getting good quality products in my hands without burning a hole in my pocket is so good!

I have included only those products which I have used and find them well worth their cost. I’ll be linking every product to its review.

good quality affordable makeup products in India

Product: Garnier BB cream miracle skin perfector

Price: Rs 69

What I think about it: If you’re after a sheer coverage bb cream ideal for dry or combination skin type, give it a try. I wore it in winters without it causing pimples on my face. Stay away from it if you have oily skin type. It comes in only one shade suited for fair-medium skin tones.

Product: Ponds white beauty bb cream

Price: Rs 75

What I think about it: This is the cheapest, good-quality foundation existing in our Indian beauty market. It offers medium coverage, blends well, blurs pores to a good extent and lasts well. It also has SPF 30. The sad part is that it comes in only one shade. But given its cost, it’s worth a try!

Product: Spawake moisture fresh bb cream

Price: Rs 129

What I think about it: It’s almost like Garnier BB cream- only a tad less moisturizing. Also, it’s available in two shades.

Product: Kryolan supracolor concealer, used it to show how to conceal darkness around mouth and how to conceal dark circles using affordable products

Price: Rs 250

What I think about it: This one is creamier than derma color camouflage creme. I only like to use it for the under-eye area or around my lips and not for face as it can be quite emollient for my oily skin in summers.

Product: Maybelline clear glow BB stick

Price: Rs 225

What I think about it: Ideal for people with normal-combination skin. On my super oily skin, it doesn’t control oil for long.

Product: Streetwear color rich perfection compact

Price: Rs 160

What I think about it: From cute packaging to smooth powder to decent oil control, streetwear color rich perfection compact is actually a perfection at its cheap price tag!

Product: Colorbar radiant white UV fairness compact powder

Price: Rs 250

What I think about it: The texture of the powder is a bit chalky and has a tendency to cling to dry patches. Best suited for people with oily-combination skin type.

Product: Maybelline cheeky glow blush

Price: Rs 250

What I think about it: Enhance your glow without breaking your bank or face with this cheeky glow blush by Maybelline. It blends easily, is non-comedogenic and has a decent staying power which can be increased by wearing a primer and good base underneath.

Product: Avon simple pretty pressed powder

Price: Rs 180

What I think about it: It gives a matte finish and controls oil-well. It’s non-comdogenic, non-acnegenic, dermatologically tested and clinically tested too. But it broke me out as it contains tea tree oil which doesn’t suit me.

Product: Oriflame oxygen boost oil blotting tissues

Price: Rs 199

What I think about it: A must-have in your bag regardless of what skin type you have. They take the excess oil from face without disturbing makeup. Always use them before you use your compact for touch-ups.

Product: Maybelline clear glow all in one fairness compact

Price: Rs 175

What I think about it: Evens skin tone, soft powder and controls oil well.

cheap makeup products online India

Product: Maybelline hyper glossy liquid eyeliner Black

Price: Rs 300

What I think about it: I’ve been using this since 3 years. It’s jet black, dries fast and lasts well. It’s water-resistant but not waterproof.

Product: Maybelline hyper glossy electric liquid eyeliners

Price: Rs 300

What I think about it: I own all the colored versions of this eyeliner which you can see in this post> how to wear colored eyeliners. Quality same as hyper glossy eyeliner black.

Product: Maybelline vivid and smooth eyeliners

Price: Rs 299

What I think about it: While the green shade stays on my oily eyelids for 6-7 hours easily, other shades tend to fade faster.

Product: Lakme eyeconic kajals ‘Grey’ and ‘White’

Price: Rs 250

What I think about it: Fantabulous! They don’t transfer to my crease area in spite of me having super oily eyelids.

Product: Elle 18 Color Pop eyeliner ‘Grey’

Price: Rs 100

What I think about it: It’s nicely pigmented, dries fast and stays for long. The only complain- uneven bristles of the brush

Product: Maybelline the colossal kohl ‘Turquoise’

Price: Rs 250

What I think about it: Goes on smooth, packs a punch of color and stays for long.

Product: Maybelline the colossal kohl ‘Smoked silver’

Price: Rs 250

What I think about it: Not as pigmented as the turquoise one but has a good staying power.

Product: Nykaa black magic liquid eyeliner

Price: Rs 299

What I think about it: Smudge-resistant as well as water-resistant, Nykaa black magic liquid eyeliner offers a beautiful pigmentation and lasting stay on oily eyelids.

Product: Lakme eyeconic Kajal ‘Black’- Showed in war among 5 black eyeliners post

Price: Rs 210

What I think about it: A smudge-proof black eyeliner with a matte finish that’s also safe for tight-lining.

Product: Lakme absolute shine line

Price: Rs 300

What I think about it: Takes time to dry but once set, it doesn’t budge for hours.

Product: Sivanna Colors Smokey Eyes 03 eyeshadow palette

Price: Rs.250

What I think about it: The palette consists of 6 shades helpful for daytime as well as night time smokey eyes. The eyeshadows aren’t the best in quality because of the stiff texture but you do get 3 decent performing eyeshadows. Not a bad deal, right?

budget makeup products in India

Product: Maybelline color bloom lip balm ‘Pink blossom’

Price: Rs 185

What I think about it: Get a long-stay bright pink tint after swiping it on lips 4-5 times. Hydration is a plus with this color-changing lip balm!

Product: Maybelline color bloom lip balm ‘Peach’

Price: Rs 185

What I think about it: Unlike pink blossom that gives a bright pink tint, this one packs a subtle pink on your lips.

Product: Elle 18 color pops matte lipsticks

Price: Rs 100

What I think about it: Not matte- but creamy matte which can be set to a lasting finish with the help of blotting technique. With so many shades to choose from, you’re in for a treat!

Product: Organistick lipstick 13

Price: Rs 149

What I think about it: A lipstick loaded with natural ingredients which has a satin finish and stays well, leaving a tint behind after the color has worn off. Plus, it helps fake fuller lips.

Product: Elle 18 color boost lipsticks

Price: Rs 150

What I think about it: Glide smoothly on lips, cover pigmented lips well and have a decent staying power.

Product: New Lakme enrich satin lipsticks

Price: Rs 260

What I think about it: Soft texture, creamy finish and last long.

Product: Coloressence mesmerizing lip color

Price: Rs 175

What I think about it: Decent texture topped with good staying power.

Product: Streetwear color rich ultra moisture lipstick, Another shade reviewed HERE

Price: Rs 180

What I think about it: Cute packaging, beautifully pigmented and lasts for a good amount of time.

Product: Streetwear color rich mega shine lipgloss

Price: Rs 150

What I think about it: Shimmer-free lip gloss with a non-gooey texture that doesn’t feel uncomfortable on lips.

Product: Lakme enrich lip crayons

Price: Rs. 185 each

Shades available: Lakme Baby Pink enrich lip crayon , Lakme Pink Burst enrich lip crayon, to continue..

I’ll keep updating the list as and when I find more products to add in here. Let me know if you want me to try a particular product within this budget.

Hope this list is helps you build you an affordable makeup kit ^_^

955??? Jesus Christ. No way. I can buy a lot of things with that in India and converted into pounds I will still be able to grab some quality products.

Love your lipstick collection and quite a bargain too. You can buy nearly 10 of those Elle's lipsticks if you add RS 5

I truly stopped and looked at the first pic. it's so beautifully clicked.
I have to agree with you on all counts, it's not worth spending ginormous amounts of money for cosmetics that are not on par with quality. I will pay only if I feel the quality matched the price point. i prefer buying good quality budget makeup which makes this a great post for me 🙂

I too agree. They should know that India is a price sensitive country.

Moreover, it doesn't makes any sense to see every brand going expensive

You can try Maybelline cheeky glow blushes. I have given the link above.

Revlon has launched new eyeshadows for Rs.175, You can try them but many of them low score on pigmentation and staying power. Inglot eyeshadows retail for Rs.350 and most of them are great in quality

    Thankoo!:)
