20 Nude Lipsticks for Indian Skin Tones

Finding nude lipsticks for Indian skin tones that don’t look pale and wash out the skin tone is still a struggle. Thankfully, there are a good amount of choices available today even in the affordable category. Since I made this article keeping different skin tones in mind, remember that a lipstick which looks dark on me might be someone else’s perfect nude shade. Most lip colors have a mix of pink, peach, rose, brown and terracotta undertones.

Some tips which may help you pick the right nude lipstick for your skin tone:

– Don’t opt for shades that look concealer type and look pasty on you. I did that initially and found myself compensating by going by dark eye makeup and piling on bronzer. It defeats the purpose of wearing a nude lip.

– Nude lipsticks in overly matte formulas look real bad as the day progresses on. What you’re left with is an uneven finish mixed with your saliva!

– The only scenario in which a nude lipstick which goes with your skin tone still may not look good is when your lips are pigmented. So, feel free to go a shade deeper.

– If you are still struggling to get that perfect shade, don’t be afraid to mix up two lip shades. My favourite combination is wearing NYX slim lip liner ‘Nude Beige’ on top of Colourpop satin lip ‘Echo Park’.
