My experience with Nykaa Black magic liquid eyeliner:
Packaging: The eyeliner comes in a matte black bottle with the product name mentioned in glossy silver letters. It even has the expiry date written on it. At the bottom, you can find the shade number ’01’ mentioned. Does this mean that they are planning to launch more shades or that I think too much?
Applicator: The applicator is thin which makes drawing thick as well as thin lines easy. Also, it has just the right amount of stiffness to allow flexibility without being droopy.
Length: The length of the applicator is perfect. Since it’s short, it makes way for a more controlled application which results in precise lines.
Finish: The eyeliner dries to a glossy black finish.
Formula: Coming to the formula, you need to shake the bottle before application otherwise you get a little watery formula. Once shaken, the formula is much better intense.
Pigmentation: It becomes jet black after two swipes.
Drying time: Monolided girls can also try it since it dries fast and doesn’t transfer onto the skin above the lids.
Staying power: When it comes to staying power, it’s smudge-resistant as well as water-resistant. But it’s not smudge proof and water-proof. This means that if you accidentally happen to rub your eyes a little, it won’t move. However, vigorous rubbing will rub off the eyeliner. If you have watery eye corners, you might see the formula separating a bit after some hours but not completely.
Please note that it peels and doesn’t flake. It doesn’t dissolve with water and therefore, you can be assured of not ending up with raccoon eyes with it. If you want an even better staying power from it, you may want to use the eyeliner hack I use for my super oily eyelids.

If you are on the hunt for an affordable black liquid eyeliner which also scores good on the quality front, you should definitely try Nykaa black magic liquid eyeliner. The brush allows to draw fine as well as thick lines, the texture is good, it dries fast and stays for long.
