Vichy Eau Thermale Thermal Spa Water Review

in Reviews, Skincare on 28/10/15

What I am going to say now is particularly true for beauty bloggers. There are quite a lot of products that they buy. But only a few ones end up becoming their saviour not just for a month, but for more than a year. One such product for me is Vichy Eau Thermale Thermal spa water.
Product Details:
Vichy Thermal Water is 100% pure and naturally rich with 15 rare minerals. It is clinically proven to have health benefits for your skin: regenerating, antioxidant, soothing and protective. Recommended for sensitive skin.
How to use: After spraying, leave to act for a few moments, then gently pat dry. Soothes and refreshes instantly during the day. Use morning and evening to complete your cleansing routine. Recommended for sensitive skin.
My experience:
It comes in a spray like can with a blue plastic cap. I have taken it on many trips and can safely say that I haven’t come across any leakage issues. Thermal spring water is known for providing the much needed hydration for dull and dehydrated skin. It is rich in iodine and mineral salts. You can read more about it HERE.

When I used this for the first time, I have to say that it was an instant refreshing feeling. The nozzle easily releases the mist. I spray it from an approx 6-7 inch distance, 3-4 times. As per the instructions, I let it sit on my skin for approx 30 seconds and then pat it down with my fingers. This way it gets absorbed in.
I first bought it when I was going under acne treatment in winters and in spite of using good moisturizers, my cheeks had developed light dry patches. I couldn’t notice any difference for them in the first week but by the second week, I could see its effect as they had almost gone. I use this after washing my face and before putting on moisturizer.

I can’t use it as a makeup fixing spray because it does not dry down on its own.  I tried it once and had to redo my entire base almost again.
And it’s fragrance-free! Thank God!

I wouldn’t call it a miracle product but since it keeps my skin soft and ups the working level of my other skincare products, I like it a lot. Having finished 2 bottles of it, I am now bored of it. I am going to try one from another brand now.

I like the nozzle of this. It sprays very fine particles that feel amazing on the skin.

Hehe! Yup! It didn't serve any purpose to me for fixing my makeup. Try Kryolan Surgiva Skin refreshing spray or derma spray.. both are nice 🙂

Ooh.. Is it? Then I'll read reviews before buying a new one for myself. I am not a fan of scented products on my face.
