Colorbar I-Glide eye pencil “Emerald Charm” Review and Swatches

in Eyeliner, Eyes, Reviews on 24/10/14

Colored eye pencils are such a relief for me when rushing out and going somewhere with less than 30 minutes at hand. I prefer soft shade lipsticks more than bright lipsticks, so having colored eyeliners is always an advantage for me when I can’t afford even a quick smokey eye. I have already raved about Colorbar I-Glide eye pencils HERE and HERE. And, here’s some more!

–            Colorbar I-Glide eye pencil “Emerald Charm” is a gorgeous forest green shade with shimmers.
–            It has a buttery texture and glides on smoothly without any force on the eyelids.
–            It is very pigmented. All I need is one swipe and I am done.
–            The staying power is fabulous! It stays on my oily eyelids for more than 12 hours without any smudging. Very rarely it does smudges a little at the corners and that too because I have very watery eye corners.
–            The expiry date is mentioned on the pencil itself. I love this. Because then you know when to toss it out.
–            Since the pencil is extremely soft, a lot of product gets wasted into sharpening plus the tip sometimes breaks. So, I need to be very careful with the pressure point I use to apply it.
–            It’s easily available.

Besides the price tag, the only problem I see is its removal part. Removing it is really a task! The shimmers travel all over the eyes and it just gets so difficult to remove all of them at once. I have to use so much cotton while removing it. And, after I’m done removing it, I like to ogle at the shimmery cotton swabs *_* Hehe!

I have two more shades from it and both blue. I would review them soon. And, again I wish that Colorbar introduces a jet black shade with golden sparkles in it. Please! Please! And, also name it pretty please!

Price: Rs.499 (Ouch!)

colorbar has good eyeliners, they are creamy and glide easily. You have lined your eyes beautifully.
