Colorbar I-Glide eye pencil “Amethyst spark, 011” review and swatches

I love colorbar I-glide eye pencils! They are a boon for my oily eyelids where most pencils transfer to the crease area and smudge easily. I use liquid eyeliners mostly but when I do want to go for colors on my eyes, I turn to these!


–    The shade is a beautiful radiant purple with pink-purple shimmer.
–    The texture is buttery soft and glides easily onto the eyes without any tugging.
–    It stays on my oily eyelids for more than 10 hours and with not even a bit of smudging!
–    The expiry date is mentioned on the pencil itself.
–    It sets really fast! So, to do a smokey eye with this, one needs to have the speed of a light, which unfortunately I don’t have.
–    The pencil shade are embossed on the pencil itself, so easier to locate.
–    It’s easily available across online site and at colorbar stores. I shopped for this pencil during sale from Nykaa when it was at 15% off. And, I received this pencil which is just 1 year away from its expiry date. So, be careful!
–    Since the pencil is soft, there’s a lot of product wastage.
–    The price tag keeps increasing!
–    Removing it is a task since the glitters travel all around! The Bourjois metallic eye pencil (Review HERE) which I equally love for its beautiful glittery brown shade has no shortcoming like this.

I’m surely going to buy more shades of this in future! I wish they introduce a sparkling jet black shade in this with tiny beautiful golden shimmers! Wouldn’t it be just beautiful?!

  2. yes.. I have two from this range.. black and purple.. I loved their texture.. only issue is that they are little difficult to remove.. This shade looks very beautiful
