PAC cosmetics finally opened their store in Delhi some months back. I had been meaning to lay my hands on their matte lipsticks. Instead of going berserk, I decided to start with two. I’m reviewing one of those I got i.e. PAC matte lipstick 5.

My experience with PAC matte lipstick 5:

Packaging: The lipstick is housed in a black cardboard packaging which bears details like product name, shade, expiry date, price and so on. If you have nightmare about having lipstick smudges in your handbag, you will be delighted. The actual lipstick comes in a black-colored glossy body with a magnetic click and has a yum vanilla smell. So, no chances of the cap coming off.

Texture:  It applies without tugging on the lips. Despite the thick formula, it doesn’t feel gross. I wouldn’t layer it a lot though. There’s a certain tackiness to it when first applied but it subsides after some time. If you have dry lips, you might need a touch of a lip balm after some 2-3 hours as it can get slightly drying.

Shade: PAC matte lipstick 5 is a beautiful warm orange with brown undertones. It’s a very refreshing shade in my collection of everyday lip shades.

Finish: Matte with the slightest tinge of moisture

Pigmentation: It goes opaque in two swipes and hugs the lips comfortably.

Staying power: PAC matte lipstick 5 is a long-wearing formula. There is no feathering or bleeding. It’s reasonably water-resistant as it survives water and coffee. Even after having a full meal, a lot of color is still left on the lips. I really wasn’t expecting this much! But I always like to touch-up after this long.

Summary:

PAC matte lipstick 5 is a refreshing everyday lip shade in a matte finish. It goes on smoothly, applies evenly and covers the natural color of lips completely. Even the lasting power is pretty amazing with it being fairly water-resistant.
