My experience with Makeup Revolution flawless ultra 32 eyeshadow palette:
Packaging: Makeup Revolution flawless ultra 32 eyeshadow palette comes in a rose gold cardboard packaging with details like ingredients list, expiry date, description, etc. mentioned at the back of it. The actual palette looks sleek but is heavy in weight. It has a large mirror inside but doesn’t have any brush. The eyeshadows are protected with a plastic film which also has the shade names on it. I always keep it to prevent the mirror from looking messy.
Texture: Truth be told, I wasn’t expecting much from this palette because my previous experiences with this brand haven’t been very good. But I was in for a pleasant surprise!
Majority of the eyeshadows are smooth to the touch and not chalky. The soft texture makes it very easy to apply them on eyelids without any pull. It’s only with the matte shades that I find myself putting in more efforts to apply and blend. The shimmer shades in this palette have to be my favourite because they don’t have a lot of fallout. But it’s best to start with your eye makeup first with this palette, in case you don’t do that.
Shades: I love the color selection in Makeup Revolution flawless ultra 32 eyeshadow palette. You have neutral shades, some eyeshadows in matte finish, dark shimmery shades perfect for night-time smokey eyes and hues in pinks and reds to try something different. The transition from day to night is easy with this palette.
Pigmentation: With the exception of 5-6 shades, all are nicely pigmented. Some with even crazy intensity! You can use an eyeshadow primer to bring out the vibrancy but they look good enough on their own too.
The shades which make an exception here are 17 smudge, 2 soft glow, 26 raw, 18 shimmer heart, 24 black tie and 32 night i.e. if you intend to use them fully on your eyelids. You can see the swatches below for a clear understanding.
Paper – Softglow – Buff – Highlite – Angel (Looks amazing as a highlighter) – Unlimited – Brew- Silver Smoke
Almost There – Uncover – Barely Pink – Lowlite – Golden Night – Gold Digger – Cheerless – Blue Stars
Smudge – Shimmer Heart – Universal – Copper Shimmer – Medal – Darkest Shimmer – Tarnish – Black Tie
Pure Chocolate – Raw – Red Night – Molton Chocolate – Burgandy Nights – GreenStars – Cafe Noir – Night
Staying power: On my super oily eyelids, they don’t stay crease-free for much longer. I have the same to tell even with the other eyeshadows I own. Using an eye base and then, sealing with a setting spray is always a must for me when using eyeshadows. I do the same with these ones and that does the trick.
I get about 4-5 hours of wear time before I start seeing signs of creasing. The intensity however is still the same.
Makeup Revolution flawless ultra 32 eyeshadow palette contains an amazing variety of shades to transform your eye makeup from day to night with ease. Most eyeshadows are smooth and apply well without crazy fallouts. They blend well although don’t go overboard. They wear for about 4-5 hours on my super oily eyelids. If your aren’t, you should get a longer wear time.
It’s an amazing product to go into basic makeup kit for beginners and ideal even for those who don’t wear eyeshadows much but do want something good with them without spending a bomb.
