If you can buy only 10 products under Rs 1000..

what will they be?

Truth be told, I decided to make this post a year back. It’s an amazing way to share your favourites and also, discover favourites of others. But I couldn’t bring myself to choosing just 10, especially with lipsticks. I don’t wear every lipstick I buy frequently but I do have some 10-15 shades in lip colors which I do wear a lot and louuuu them.

Recently, one of my friends asked me about good quality Indian makeup products under Rs 1000. While giving her my suggestions, I thought of making this post live. So, without further ado, I present to you my absolute favourites (at least, for now):

L’oreal mat magique 12H bright mat foundation

It’s light-weight and offers a very good oil-control. In winters, I can still make it work with a little heavy moisturizer underneath. It wasn’t easy choosing this over Lakme absolute white intense skin cover foundation. But since I can wear it continuously without facing any breakouts, I went with this one.

L’oreal Paris brow artist genius kit

If I have the time to apply only two products before leaving home, they are eyebrow powder and benefit benetint. The former defines the area around my eyes and the latter helps me sport a natural glow. Never under-estimate the power of both! They make a world of difference.

Previously, I used NYX eyebrow kit combined with Ciate London tinted brow gel. Now, I use this one along with the brow gel. The shade looks natural, stays for longer and the best part is that the wax works well without giving an oily look. I brush it lightly after I’ve applied powder.

L’oreal mat magique all in one transforming powder

Okay! I promise! This is the last contender from L’oreal in this list. It is, right? (Goes back to the products list written in her notebook) Yes, it is ^_^

The texture of this powder is finely milled, making it ideal even for setting under-eye concealer. It has decent oil-controlling properties and comes with SPF34! Yay!

Faces Canada long wear eye pencil – Solid Black

It is jet black, goes on smoothly and takes a few seconds before it sets to a smudge-proof finish. This property makes it my favourite to create smokey eyes using only eyeliner. On my super oily eyelids, it doesn’t transfer to the crease area or make my eyes look like racoon even by the end of the day.

Maybelline hyper glossy liquid eyeliner- Black

I have lost the count of the number of bottles I have emptied of this eyeliner. When it launched in the year 2013, I remember no eyeliner performing as good as it for just Rs. 225. More liquid eyeliners are now available today in the same price bracket which are also good-quality.

But given the fact that I have been using it since 3 years, I’m still addicted to it. For days I want extra staying power from it, I wear it over Faces canada eye pencil. Plus, there are so many gorgeous shades available in this range. I hardly apply kajal but I love to apply the silver and gold shades in it on my lower lashline. They look so pwetty *_*

You can also check my post on how to wear colored eyeliners.

Inglot freedom system blush 46

A beautiful peach shade which goes well with so many lipsticks. The pigmentation can be build and it blends well. I tried this on my sister who has a medium skin tone and it was a lot of work. It took me a lot of layers to show this on her skin tone.

NYX lip liner ‘860, Peekaboo neutral’

If I had to wear just one pink lip color my all life, it would be this!

Wait! Did I just say that out loud?

*Gives it a second thought*

*What about Colorbar matte touch fairytale lipstick?*

Yeah, I think so..

I have re-purchased this one for the third time. So, you can well-imagine my obsession with this.

Most of the times, I wear it alone and absolutely love how it looks. In winters, I top it with a transparent lip gloss sometimes.

You can see me wearing it HERE and HERE.

Revlon ultra HD matte lip color ‘Seduction’

From the time I bought it, I have worn it a lot. It’s a non-drying matte lip color and doesn’t require an immediate touch-up after a meal. The shade is a beautiful peachy-pink which for some weird reason turns pink on my lips after some hours. I have also worn it as a blush without getting pimples.

I’m definitely getting another shade.

Maybelline velvet matte lipstick ‘MAT4’

A hydrating yet long-lasting lip color which also makes an amazing blush. I have already talked a lot about it in my previous posts. Okay, one last time! Please give it a try *_*

Oriflame oil blotting sheets

A big thank you, Oriflame!
