I was greeted with these cute little hearts (see pic below) in the morning by my mom. I slept late, got ready for this day with wearing my favourite dress and makeup. I had brought balloons a day before and decorated my room with candles and balloons. I played “Hasee Toh Phasee” movie on my laptop, made popcorns in microwave.. You see, I was on a date with myself today! (Not the first time though!). I loved the movie. Parineeti was awesome! It’s not for those who find fault in others like there’s a reward for it but I enjoy these simple innocent love stories! I ate yummy food, chocolate cake and after sometime, took a shot of two tequilas (My tequilas refer to only dance like mad!). After that, I just played my favourite romantic tracks and lay on the floor, relaxing and doing nothing! A day well spent!

A day of love! I love Valentine’s day..there’s love in the air everywhere! It’s a day of love between couples, for your family, for your friends, for anyone you care about and a day to love yourself, too! Although, I admit it does gets tiring to see lovey-dovey couples on valentines day..Phew! I just dislike those couples who chose to show their love only on this day..Showoff!
If you are not happy being single, you’ll never be happy in a relationship. Get your own life first and then, Share it!
This time, I just wanted to celebrate this day with myself, not like I have many plans and I’m a happening person.. But I just wanted to be alone this day and pamper myself! And, I did! Loved the sole 5 hours I gave to myself today without any interruption!

Valentines day is so overrated, no offence to anybody but as you mentioned in your post, if you love someone and it doesn't necessarily have to be your boyfriend/girlfriend husband/wife why wait till Feb 14th, tell them everyday or more often than saying I Love You only on Valentines Day!
I went to church and then normal convo with my BF, we both like to express our feelings more often then just wait for February 14th, it was a normal day for us.
