Yes! That’s what my male friends have to say when I put on any red lipstick. For them, it’s either blood on the lips or it’s Halloween day! But then what else can be expected from them?!
Moving on to this lipstick, this is my most favourite red out of all the reds I have in my collection.
Inglot Freedom System Lipstick “09” is a very bright orangish red (IN-YOUR-FACE) shade. I feel this is a very versatile shade! I thought being an orange based red, this may make my teeth look yellow but it doesn’t! The only glitch I find in wearing this shade is that my red blemishes just should not be visible at all! But well, that’s the case with most red lipsticks!
The texture is very creamy and decently moisturizing. It’s much pigmented and has a little glossy finish. It stayed on me for more than 5 hours including snacks and drinks in between, leaving a stain behind. Also, it doesn’t wears off unevenly! It doesn’t bleeds and doesn’t get patchy with time.
With the hike in price, they should definitely provide a lip applicator with it. Other than this, I love this bold red shade! Although the hunt for my perfect red still continues..

P.S.- I know the pictures are getting a little monotonous here but with only one day (that too not full) to spare with my busy timings, I couldn’t put in much. And, Not to even mention, the summers just ruin the swatches!

I love nothing but red lips! Luckily, since I am neither light, nor dark, the brightest shades tones itself down and brightens up my lips. I can wear any shade of red.
My latest favourite is Inglot lipstick in #103. I could write an ode to it!
