Kryolan Lip Seal Review

in Lips, Lipstick, Makeup on 21/03/13

Hey everyone!

Do you girls remember the song of Aamir and Rani> “Eh, Kya Bolti tu?” and also the stunt (Running burning matchstick on tongue) which was popular with it and tried by many, including me. I actually got a burning sensation on my lips that time. If you missed it, here’s your chance! πŸ˜›

Welcome Kryolan Lip Seal! πŸ˜€

Kryolan lip seal comes in a packaging which bears resemblance to a nail enamel. It’s a clear liquid. You are supposed to use this only on lipsticks (not on lipglosses, because it wouldn’t work on them). You are required to dab on this clear liquid on your lips and then, spread it on your lips, using the brush. After 30 minutes or so, you can even use clear gloss as and when required.

There’s a WARNING(by me): You get quite a lot of burning sensation on your lips after applying this, for some 30 seconds or so. If you are fine by the burning sensation, you are most welcome to use it. Talking of me, I’m quite fine by it.

The reason I’m quite fine by the burning sensation caused by it is because of its very long lasting performance. I have used it on my lipsticks that don’t stay beyond 3 hours and yes! It worked! It worked so nicely that my lipstick stayed on for more than 7 hours. Yes! I didn’t had to touch up again with this lip seal. The intensity of the lipstick had gone down, but it hadn’t worn in an uneven manner. It stayed fully on my lips. Though after the 7 hours, my normal lips felt a little dry. Note: Only a little! I hadn’t felt uncomfortable though anyway.

If you have issues having lipstick not staying on you for long, then I suggest you to grab this. Make sure to first try it in store. If you are fine by the burning sensation, buy it! πŸ™‚

Also, because of the burning sensation, I use it only rarely and not on a regular basis.

Haven't heard of this before. Sounds nice except for the burning/stinging part.
