Hola guys! I’m reviewing another affordable eyeshadow palette today! Say hello to Sivanna Colors Classic Earthtone Eyeshadow Palette 02 whichcontains 11 shades in a metallic finish and 1 shade in a matte finish. And, look at the brush! Do it remind you of something. It’s exactly the same as the affordable double-ended eye makeup brush I reviewed some time back. I’m sure the packaging reminds you of a famous brand 😛
The shadows have a very soft texture, almost to the extent of kicking up excess powder in the pan when you swipe your brush- with the exception of some. Most of them did not give me trouble while blending. The fallout isn’t very bad but it’s best to first tap your eyeshadow brush and then, proceed to apply it over your eyelids. You can also hold a tissue underneath your eyes to catch the fallout or dust loose powder. The latter approach will also bake that area when you wipe it off later. So, don’t go for it if you don’t like the heaviness.
The swatches you see in the pictures are heavily swatched to show you the true color of the eyeshadows. However, not all of them are that pigmented. They work best with a damp brush as the color intensifies and the eyeshadows stick to the skin much better. I had the same problem with Sivanna Colors Smokey eyeshadow palette . As for longevity, they held up well for around 3 hours on my oily eyelids. Creasing was definitely there but the fading was quite less.
As for the color selection, there could have been a slightly better variety. A coffee shade in this palette would have stopped me from reaching for the other palettes to complete my look. A funny thing here is that the lighter shades here are easier to work with than the darker ones. The reason being they go on patchy and require multiple swipes. Also, I was quite surprised by the black eyeshadow with silver glitters. It doesn’t feel gritty, blends properly and isn’t sheer!

I have used this brush 3-4 times, washed it and the bristles didn’t shed. It feels exactly the same.
