“Beauty products worth the hype or not” week

in Others, Random on 14/05/17

It’s Friday night and you’re ecstatic by the fact that you are free to ignore humans for the next two days. You make plans on what movie to watch, which books to read and what new food items to try. As you are engrossed in your deep thoughts, your phone beeps and you read the notification on your screen “Flat 40% off at your favourite store”.

Whatttt?? You have two options. Either ignore it fully and spend sleepless nights over wondering what all you just missed or take a deep breath, prepare yourself mentally and take advantage of it. As exciting it would be to pick option one, you do what you have to do.

You reach the store way early than you’re supposed to tomorrow morning and try not losing your cool in the maddening rush to focus on the shopping aspect. Hours go by before you realize that you just spent your freaking whole day at a store and walk out with just two clothing pieces.

On your way back to home, you curse yourself for picking the second option. It was obviously not worth it. But when you try those dresses back home, they make you feel so good and you can’t help but smile to yourself and say “Okay! Maybe, it was worth it.”

That’s how it is with makeup products that are hyped so much. You are torn between the constant battle on whether to spend on them or not. But in the end, you just do it! Some beauty products are worth the hype while some aren’t. And that’s what the posts in the coming week are about to be.

I’m going to talk about some much raved beauty products and share my thoughts on them.

I’ll be starting tomorrow with the YBP makeup perfector sponge!
