L’oreal Magique Liquid Eyeliner Vs Maybelline Hyper Glossy Liquid Eyeliner

Sometime back, I did a post on Maybelline vs Maybelline. I wanted to do a similar post again. Since I recently emptied the first bottle of L’oreal magique eyeliner, I thought this will be the perfect time to compare it with my old favourite. Thus, this post on L’oreal Magique liquid eyeliner vs Maybelline hyper glossy liquid eyeliner!

In a nutshell, both eyeliners perform almost the same. I have super oily eyelids with watery corners.

– They apply evenly with an excellent color payoff. L’oreal magique is a tad darker than the Maybelline one.

– Both of them are ideal to create thick as well as thin lines.

– They stay for 7-8 hours but do smudge from the corners after a few hours.

– Both of them are water-resistant but not waterproof. L’oreal one claims to be both waterproof and smudgeproof which makes it a disappointment.

– It’s also priced higher than Maybelline hyper glossy liquid eyeliner.

– Both of them have 3g of product.

– L’oreal magique eyeliner is a good choice for people who are looking forward to trying a liquid eyeliner for the first time. The reason being it has a felt tip applicator. It is thin and gives enough flexibility to move around the curves of the eyelid without being droopy.

– Even though the quantity is same of both, the L’oreal one tends to last longer. I have emptied so many bottles of the Maybelline one and have noticed that in some, the formula tends to get bit clumpy as it’s about to finish. This leads to some product wastage. The consistency of the L’oreal one remained the same till the end. Since I have used only bottle of it, I can’t exactly vouch for this point.
