Natio Cream to Powder Blush Enchanting: You’ll either love it or hate it!

in Blush, Face on 09/01/17

The only other cream to powder blush I’ve tried is Deborah Milano face perfect cream blush. Until then I thought all cream blushes are supposed to give a dewy effect therefore not making them ideal for my oily skin type. When I came across Natio cream to powder blush enchanting, I thought of giving this formula another try.

Natio Cream to Powder Blush Enchanting Review

I ended up having a love-hate relationship with it.

Product description

The blushes apply like a cream and set like a silky-soft powder. Each shade blends with your unique skin tone to provide a natural, healthy flush with a boost of radiant colour.

The luscious formula conditions with Beeswax, Jojoba Seed and Argan Oils. Part of the Blushing Blooms limited edition promotion.

Packaging: The cream to powder blush comes in a plastic casing but doesn’t feel flimsy. However, given the price it comes at, the packaging could have been sturdier and at least, have a mirror to make touch-ups easier.

Texture: The texture is firm yet easy to blend. It’s creamy yet non-greasy. It works well with both fingers as well as a brush. Since cream formulations have a tendency to stick to dry patches, make sure your skin is properly moisturized.

Longevity:  It sets to a long-lasting glow in winters.

Natio cream to powder blush enchanting is more of a peachy-coral-ish highlighter than a blush. On my fair skin tone, I can still see the warmth the shade brings. On medium-dusky skin tones, this will just be a highlighter.

The shade is more warm and shimmery in real.

The shade ‘Enchanting’ not a subtle highlighter like Faces ultimate pro metaliglow. It’s loaded with golden shimmers and needless to say, not very forgiving on my imperfect skin with enlarged pores.

Since I have a very oily skin, the shimmers tend to make my cheeks look oilier. Argh!

See the shimmers?

Why you will love it:

If you thrive on highlighters with high shimmer content, this one is for you! The shimmers don’t feel rough and translate well onto the skin, giving more of a golden sheen.

the balm hot mama affordable dupe India

The shade will not show up on skin tones above NC40. So, it’s best to use it as a highlighter underneath coral-peach blushes.

Going by swatches online, I wonder if it is the next best thing to some high-end blushers like The balm hot mama, benefit coralista!

Summary:

It’s best to maintain distance from Natio cream to powder blush enchanting if you have enlarged pores and are not in the favour of very shimmery content.

I was so looking forward to use this and make it a part of my most-used blushers, but the shimmers are a bummer. This one will sit in my drawer- feeling alone..most of the times.. but when I’m in the mood to mimic a light bulb glow in the comfortable corners of my room, this is the one I’ll reach out for.

If unlike me, you like to sport that glow outside the comfort of your home too, definitely give it a try.

Price: Rs 835

Quantity: 2.7  gm

Rating: 3/5

This should be called a blush highlighter. I wonder if the other shades have shimmer or not.

P.S.: If you’re wondering about who the super cute cat is, the name is Taffy! Isn’t she adorable? Oh! Do you like this shade?

It’s better to maintain distance from it if you’ve have a lot of visible pores as it’s only going to emphasize them. Me too! Thanku 🙂
