Colorbar Matte Touch Lipstick ’32M, Steal Pink’ Review and Swatches

in Lips, Lipstick, Reviews on 25/01/16

I talked about this range HEREwhen I bought the first shade from them. I loved the quality which is why I own 4 shades in total from this range. I so wish Colorbar introduced more colors in this range.

I decided to talk about another shade which is another favourite of mine. Colorbar Matte touch lipstick ’32M, Steal Pink’ is a deep pinkish red shade which is a classic for our Indian skin tones. The unique thing about this shade is that even young women as well as mature ladies can carry it off.
I am wearing it blotted here.

The packaging is the regular silver case packaging with shade name mentioned on the bottom and brand name imprinted on the tube. Thanks to the shape of the bullet, applying even at the corner of lips is easy. I hardly feel the need for using a lip brush.

The tinge of creaminess in texture makes it glides smoothly on my lips. After an hour or so, it soaks down that bit of creaminess and translates to a matte finish. But the finish thankfully is still not drying matte. That’s the only reason why I am able to smile with all my 32 teeth out comfortably even after 4 hours. It’s very pigmented and offers a full coverage. The formula wears well throughout the day. There’s no feathering.

I find it getting a bit patchy only after some 5 hours which is completely okay. I have devoured snacks, drinks and a full meal by that time. So I re-touch it after removing the previous layer completely by wetting a tissue. Since it stains lips, the stain doesn’t go but that hardly affects my touch up.

If you still haven’t given this range a try, you really should! Unless you feel discouraged by the level of lead found in their lipsticks.

Price: Rs475
Quantity: 4.3gm
VCB Rating: 4.5/5

Please introduce more shades in this range, Colorbar! Everyday bright shades will be perfect! ^_^
