BBlunt products: Yay or Nay?

in Hair care, Makeup, Others on 27/01/16

Lately, there has been a positive buzz going around Bblunt products and I too decided to try some of their products. However instead of going for their full sized products, I ordered their mini versions.

Thanks a ton BBlunt, for this smart move! I wish that other brands also start doing the same!

For reference, I have dry hair and a very oily scalp.

BBlunt Full On Volume Shampoo For Fine Hair
I got two usages out of this mini sized version. The press down cap works perfectly in controlling the quantity of the shampoo. The shampoo left my hair very soft but sadly did nothing to build some volume for my fine hair.

BBlunt Anti Frizz Leave-In-Cream
It works like any other regular leave in conditioner. It does reduce frizz but the end result is somewhat not satisfactory for my dry, wavy hair. A pass for me.

Bblunt Volumizing Leave-In-Spray

As per their instructions, I flipped over my towed-dried hair and sprayed it on the roots of my hair around 8-9 times. I blow-dried my hair at medium settings and voila! I was surprised to see a good amount of volume in my hair, especially around my crown area. The effect lasted for some 6-7 hours. I was quite happy with the results as there also wasn’t any stickiness from the product residue. Next time, I tried it and let my hair dry naturally. The volume wasn’t as good as the first time but it was decent nonetheless.

One day when I had to use my dry shampoo, I realized that it had finished. I couldn’t afford to wash my hair. So I sprayed my hair with water, used this spray and then blow dried my hair. The result was quite decent!

This spray is a re-purchase for me.

Have you tried BBlunt products? How did they fare on you?

I tried their dry shampoo (smells yucky) and the curl leave in cream…. didn't really care for either. Wouldn't repurchase

I like the volumizing spray but it doesn't actually add volume to my hair. It makes it soft, that's it. I use it the same way you do – before blowdrying.

I use their leave-in volumizing spray. Works decently, quite amazing if you look at the price.

I was planning to buy the curl leave in cream but guess I won't now. Thanks, Manasi! ^_^

I wanted to purchase it but I have read that it smells very bad. Do you also find the same?
