New Love Affair: Maybelline Baby Lips Electro Pop “Berry Bomb”

in Lip balm and stain, Lips, Reviews on 07/12/14

I had casually made a long walk to a small makeup shop away from my home and imagine my happiness when I saw these baby lips on the counter. Unfortunately, they had only one flavour in stock at that time. But never mind, I’ll buy the other army also soon!

Product Description:
No More Basic Lip Balm!
8HR Hydration with a Neon Kick
Electric color pigments in our exclusive lip renew formula
In 6 New Tinted Shades
  • Electric color pigments give your lips a sheer jolt of neon color
  • Protects and moisturizes for a full 8 hours
  • Visibly renewed lips in 1 week*
    • 88% Had Smoother Lips*
    • 82% Had Less Dry Lips*
    • 70% Had More Supple Lips*
    • 83% Had Better-Looking Lips*

My experience:
The packaging is neat and colorful. I like how “Baby lips” is written boldly on it. The cap shuts down tightly after every use.
The fragrance is A-H-M-A-Z-I-N-G! It has a strong fruity scent and smells of berries. The scent subsides down after a minute or so. The consistency of the balm is thin and feels lightweight. It keeps my lips moisturized for 4-5 hours, after which I need to re-apply. “Berry bomb” gives a sheer purplish pink tint on my lips and after some time, it looks pinker on me. I definitely need 3-4 swipes from it to get a subtle color payoff. In the tube, the shade looks intense but it comes off light on application.
The only people I don’t see myself recommending these, are the ones who have super dry lips. Apart from that, these electro pop baby lips are worth purchasing. If you are someone who prefers a light tint of colours on your lips for everyday, then you must check these out!
I am keen on getting the other variants too!

*On the verge of finishing*
