Bye-Bye to oily hair?

in Hair care, Makeup, Others on 15/10/14

Hey everyone!
Today, I’m going to review a product which has been saving a lot of my time lately!

Product description:
Now refresh and cleanse your hair while you’re on the move! L’Oreal Professionnel Tecni Art Fresh Dust Shampoo is the ideal dry shampoo for hair. The no residue shampoo mildly cleans your hair and scalp while the micro oils help absorb dirt and impurities from hair.
  • Micro Oils absorb dust and dirt particles to give fresher look to hair.
  • No residue formula gives your hair proper texture.
  • Gives a flexible hold to hair.
How to use:
  • Spray on hair and roots for cleansing the scalp.
  • Spray on your lengths to your ends for better texture.
  • Massage it into scalp
  • Brush out the excess spray particles.
  • No need to rinse it off.

My experience with L’oreal Fresh Dust Dry Shampoo:
Although there’s no substitute for the fresh hair wash feeling, there is a substitute for washing your hair every other day because of the oily scalp you have got. I got it after my Sephora dry shampoo (See HERE) refused to work.Β
I have a very oily scalp and very dry hair. When I was in college, I could wash my hair when I wanted but with office timings now, it’s a little difficult. Especially difficult when I have to attend a party right after my office timings and don’t have to time to wash and style. Plus with winters approaching, this seemed like a good weapon to try. And, must I add that I ‘m not disappointed.Β
It comes in a sleek bottle and the spray works well and easily. You know, how some spray mechanisms are irritating with them being too tight. I first used it on the second day of washing my hair, when I had come from my morning walk and my scalp was oily with hair looking flat. I sprayed it from a distance on my hair from different angles and then, massaged my hair lightly. After some minutes, my hair actually looked less flat and less oily. This gave my hair some texture. Also, it has quite a pleasant smell. It disperses within a few minutes. The effect lasted for around 5 hours after which I could again notice the flat hair condition. I was expecting more considering the price. It really depends on how fast your scalp gets oily. Mine I guess travels faster than the speed of light o_O

Leaving the pump issue of Sephora dry shampoo, I found it better as it also added a little bit of volume to my hair. I’m not awestruck by this product but given the limited availability of dry shampoos here, I will buy it again until I visit Sephora and try a new one.
P.s.- I limit my use of using dry shampoo to maximum twice a week and I also use a clarifying shampoo once a month to get rid of the excess buildup caused.Β

My scalp is normal but for sure there are days when rushing to work u just can't wash ur hair. I think 5hrs are good enough to survive a party or bad hair day. However we always wants more πŸ˜‰

Well reviwed. I have been eyeing on this product since forever. Even I have oily scalp and I know the pain. Someone mentioned that after the application it kinda itches the scalp. Did you experience that?
