My experience with L’oreal Paris Gel Matic Pen “Blue Force”:
The only reason why I went out and brought this eyeliner was because of the gorgeous shade! It looks beautiful! It’s this stunning metallic navy blue shade. It’s a navy blue shade but it has this striking polish with it that makes it such a unique navy blue. I love the shade!

The staying poweris also truly impressive! It stays on my oily eyelids for more than 7 hours with no fading and no smudging at all. I have water eye corners and most eyeliners smudge there but this one doesn’t. In fact, with my recent eyeliners stint; all seem to be performing greatly on my oily eyelids in staying power department.
And, now the ordeal begins!
It comes in a retractable twist up packaging but the twist up mechanism is so lose that while I’m applying the eyeliner, it goes back in again and again. So, I have to hold it from ahead and then apply it, which I’m not comfortable with. Β It also comes with a sharpener at the end, so that you can sharpen it in case you want to go for thin lines. I forgot to include the picture for that.
The pigmentation is another let down. I have to swipe it three times to get an opaque colour. The texture isn’t buttery but it’s smooth. But since it has low pigmentation, I have to swipe it on with a little more than gentle pressure which has lead to the breaking of the tip twice! Imagine my horror! I was having mini heart attacks even while swatching it. My quantity has become even lesser. See the pictures. Please don’t laugh v_v
I also wanted to buy the silver shade in this but now I’ll restrain myself.

In short,
–Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  L’oreal Paris Super Liner Gel Matic Pen “Blue Force” is a beautiful navy blue metallic shade with a gorgeous sheen and brightness to it.
–Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  It comes in a twist up mechanism packaging which is lose and so, the liner goes back in on itself while application.
–Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  The pigmentation is average in one swipe but fully buildable in three swipes.
–Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  The texture is smooth and no tugging of eye lids is there.
–Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  Because of the low pigmentation, a little more than gentle effort is required for it to show up on lids and the tip breaks! Mine broke two times!
–Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  The staying power is impressive, 7hours+ on my oily eyelids.

I’m quite disappointed with this eyeliner. The staying power is truly impressive but applying it with careful pressure and monitor every time isn’t what I look forward to every morning while rushing out of home or even while in leisure. Add to that the lousy packaging. I have been let down by L’oreal after a long time and the only saving grace here is its staying power.

I have brown from this range and you know I was thinking that it was some problem with my pack only as the lid keeps going inside. lol πŸ˜€ Mechanism doesn't work properly! and the tip breaking off is similar too. πŸ˜› When such thing happens I would rub a stiff angled brush over the chunks and use them as a cream liner with the brush. this way at least we can use them. πŸ™‚
