My experience with L’oreal Paris hydrafresh deep boosting essence:
I have to admit that I brought this L’oreal Paris hydrafresh deep boosting essence on a whim because I just couldn’t resist the gorgeous packaging. As you can see, it comes in a turquoise green pump and transparent plastic bottle. The pump has a lock system too which ensures that this doesn’t leaks out while travelling. Another best thing about the packaging is that the base inside rises as the product starts to finish, which is great since it means almost no product wastage! Brilliant, know?
The texture of the essence is watery gel like and a little thick. But it just melts onto the skin along with the beads with just a few pats on the face. It just feels so soothing on skin. It’s lighter than the L’oreal Hydrafresh anti-shine moisturizer . I don’t massage but pat moisturizers on face. It does take a little extra time but I feel my skin gets more benefitted in that way. I have had dry patches with oily skin when I started to use this. Since it feels so light, I had doubts about it curing my dry patches. But it lessened the look of them after 10-15 days. Please note that I suffer from dry patches on my oily skin. I do not have dry skin but instead dehydrated skin. If you have a dry skin type, you may want something more intense like L’oreal hydrafresh aqua cream.

I need 3 pumps to cover my face and neck. I have been using this day and night from the past one month and I’m still left with quantity to go for 10-15 days more. So, it lasts long too! People with dry skin might want to skip it.

  2. Nice review Heena..the fancy packaging is tempting me too..might get it after my hydrafresh moisturizer is over.. But I'm vary of alcohols as they cause dullness..how high up is alcohol in the ingredient list?

  3. The %age Isn't Mentioned.. But It Does Contain Different Types of Alcohol.. Probably The Reason Why It Feels So Light.. There Are a Lot of Arguments For/Against Alcohol in Skincare.. My Oily Skin Doesn't Really Cares Much For It

  10. I ljust the packaging of it but have been restaining bcz it says hydration .. my dry skin needs more than that.. but its great that it works for your oily skin.. 🙂 🙂

      Actually, this one isn’t a serum. It’s a moisturizer and very light-weight.
      Even I have an oily and acne-prone skin. This works for me.
