Bornpretty Lipsticks Review and Swatches

in Lips, Lipstick, Makeup on 23/03/15

The sole reason behind buying these lipsticks for me was the super adorable packaging! One looks like Topshop lipstick, other comes in a classy golden packaging and one has a bow on it! And, look at the cardboard box covers they come in! I really wish there were no stickers pasted on them. But just look at them again! Sooo Pwetty! *squeals*

I wasn’t expecting good quality from any of these lipsticks. I bought them just to prettify my lipstick stand and ogle at them for hours! But one lipstick out of these 3 turned out pretty good. So, you can imagine how happy I was when that happened.

The one with good texture turned out to be the Golden one! It has a light weight texture and glides on smoothly. It feels like a tinted lip balm with good color payoff and stays on for for around 3 hours even with light snacks and drinks in between. It keeps my lips hydrated and doesn’t emphasize lip lines. The shade is a gorgeous and wearable purply pink! Price: $6.03
The other two lipsticks have an oily texture, although they do cling to lips nicely. But they settle into lip lines badly and also fade very unevenly forming a ring around mouth.
Scent: All of them have a strong fruity fragrance, which I am not too fond of. Luckily, it vanishes after a minute or so.
P.P.S.: When I first ordered these lipsticks, two of them were broken from the base. I informed their team, sending along the pictures for proof. Without any hassles, they sent me new lipsticks within two weeks.

Now, I want to buy more of these kawaii looking lipsticks!
