Inglot Rainbow System Eyeshadow “109R” Review and Swatches

in Eyes, Eyeshadow, Makeup on 13/03/14

After trying out Inglot Rainbow System Eyeshadow “107R”, I had high hopes from its other shades too but I’m a little disappointed with this one.

The reason is the pigmentation. Leaving the middle shade, I have to pack on the other shades quite more for a good color pay off on my eye lids. Even the swatches you see on my arm are using sponge tip applicators. I can hardly make the difference between middle and darkest shade on my eyelids. I have used the last and lightest green shade using a wet brush on my lower lash line. So, I will wear a primer next time I wear these to intensify the shades. Other than that, they score well in other aspects. Thetexture is smooth overall but the darkest shade has more fallout compared to the other shades. Tapping the brush does the job. Also, they blend easily since the texture is smooth. Packaging is an issue with the recent price hike but I’m glad that at least the box is provided.Β

Price: Rs.450
Quantity: 2.5gm
VCB Rating: 4.25/5

*Lightest shade on lower lash line, darkest forest green shade on outer lids, middle shade on middle eyelids and black on inner corners*

On another note,

I visited CP a few days back and saw this! *Proud* I know there aren’t many reasons presently to be proud of my country, especially since I’m a female but it’s hard to overlook that many heroes were born here. In fact, I remember “Legend of Bhagat Singh” movie was what got my eyes opened and made me proud of my country. Soon after that, I joined a NGO and worked there for around 3 years. Those were some of the best moments of my life and really, one doesn’t need to join anything to serve his/her country. Small things make big impact! πŸ™‚

You're right it isn't necessary to join something in order to serve your country, there is so much more one can do anyways.
I loved the tiny palette and want this beauty soon. Such a pretty and edgy eye makeup you did:)

Oh my my… Your EOTD is just gorgeous.
By the way, whenever I see the Tricolor, I get very emotional out of patriotism.. Whenever I cross India Gate, I always salute our Heroes who sacrificed their lives for our country..

Ooohhh those shades, love it Heena. I do love the packaging, anything that's packaged inside a metal tin because they can be recycled.

I love the lighter shade, it's such a refreshing colour and perfect for spring time but I always tend to use dark shades so I'll definitely use all three colours.

You keep extending my indian shopping list. Why Heena Why πŸ™
