When it comes to the finish, “hyper matte” isn’t what you will get. On my hands, it dries down to a complete matte finish. But when I apply it on my eyes, I can see that it’s not completely matte and has a little shine. Needless to say, I found that a bit disappointing since I was hoping for a complete matte finish. The finish was the only reason behind its purchase. Also compared to hyper glossy, it’s less pigmented but quite black nonetheless.
I will definitely be using it but not re-purchasing it. I have got so addicted to using Maybelline hyper glossy eyeliner that I am actually waiting for some Black eyeliner to beat it! Hehe! I got a new eyeliner in that attempt. Let’s see how it fares 😛 Then, I might make another post like THIS. What say?
