L’oreal Paris Color Riche Exclusive Pink Collection Aishwarya Review and Swatches

in Lips, Lipstick, Reviews on 07/02/16

And here’s a review of a lipstick from a collection that the whole blogophere has been abuzz with!

L’oreal Paris Color Riche Exclusive Pink Collection Aishwarya comes in a matte black packaging with a Golden band around the centre. The shade name is mentioned at the bottom of the lipstick. I love the sharp bullet of the lipstick as it allows me to apply at the corners perfectly.

As described by L’oreal, the texture of the lipstick is really velvety matte. It glides even on my dry lips smoothly. However like any other matte lipstick, it clings to dry bits on lips. But I have worn it without exfoliating my lips and it wore beautifully even after long hours. Because thankfully it’s not super matte. Before applying it, I apply a thick layer of balm on my lips and then wipe it off after some 10 minutes.

When I was swatching the lipstick on my hand, I could feel my heart beating really fast. Because of the medium pigmentation, I had to swipe it a couple of times and I was afraid that the bullet might break. A lot of bloggers and readers complained about the bullet of moist matte range breaking, so..!

As I pointed out before when I posted the swatches here, the pigmentation is not opaque. You can build the pigmentation to a medium intensity. As for the staying power, I find it to be pretty good. In between snacks, drink and a full meal, my lips still had a lot of color left without any band formation. Plus a light stain is left behind even after the full lipstick has worn off.
Elegant packaging, beautiful texture and impressive staying power are the terms that sum up the quality of this lipstick.

I had my eyes on Katrina’s shade but unfortunately, the testers weren’t available. Hope they get them soon!

I haven't tried their Pink range but this lipstick sounds amazing, plus I love the packaging for the range.

I don't like the packaging of this range, moist matte range has the best packaging. I might pick one up during sale.

I Wish the packaging had a little bit of oomph!
The texture is amazing but the shades aren't all that exclusive :-/
