DIY Room Decor

in DIY, Others on 05/05/20

*While watching a YouTube Video*

Oh! This looks so easy!

I am sure I can do this!

My Friday night will be sorted!

I will need someone’s company though. Goes, opens the door and picks the one where she left at previously

Checks if she has the availability of all!

Finally, it’s my time to put a pic and make my friends green with envy! Huahauahahaha!(Evil laugh like Pheobe)

*Enters kitchen*

Starts kneading the flour! Oh! So easy! The chef was right!

Oh my! I need to sit down!

Let me have a sip of Maaza to gain some energy. Now, let’s get down to business.

Okay! The consistency looks a bit funny. Maybe, I should add some more curd. Too thin! More flour! Still too thin! More flour!

Okay! Perfect!

It’s time to mix the other ingredients as well and keep it aside for 20 minutes.

Finally, time to put in and have a pizza all by myself after 20 minutes!

*Checks the appliance after 20 minutes*

Huh? Not done? Maybe, a few more minutes will do it.

*Checks the appliance after 20 more minutes*

What kind of sorcery is this? It looks more like a pie! Patience, Heena! Patience! Maybe, 10 more minutes. Yes! And then the distance between you and your pizza will no more be there!

* Detects a burning smell in kitchen*

Mom: Heena, have you again left bread in toaster?

Me: No!

Checks the revised state! Heart broken into a thousand pieces! Easy, they said! Only 20 minutes, they said! Plays the victim mentality for 10 mins. After the pity party, makes herself bread pizza and decides to pick a safe creative outlet!

Moving on,

Here is a before picture:

And, after:

The journey below:

Flowers- Itsy Bitsy, Bought on Amazon

Golden flowers- Asian Hobby Crafts, Bought on Amazon

Wooden ring set – Asian Hobby Crafts, Bought on Amazon

This adorable plant hanging is not DIY. I bought it from the stationery and gift shop (4th floor, I think) in Select City Walk, Saket.

Beautiful plate from ‘The Wishing Chair’ and Frames from ‘DesiDramaQueen’

And now, it is time for some reading, tea and cakes! Om nom nom

If you are wondering why there’s a strainer on my tray in spite that kettle (bought from Wishing Chair), that is because it is not good at doing its job.

Did you do a new activity during COVID-19 lockdown? How are you feeling these days?
