I have another lipstick to review from the brand ‘Kiko Milano’ today. The shade is very different from what I usually review on my blog.

My experience with Kiko Milano smart fusion lipstick 424, Peony Violet:

Kiko Milano smart fusion lipstick 424, Peony Violet comes in a black colored body. The base has a glossy finish and the cap has a matte finish. The shade number is mentioned at the bottom of the lipstick. For some weird reasons, the shade names aren’t mentioned on these Kiko Milano lipsticks. As with the other lipsticks, the logo is engraved on the bullet of this one too.

The texture of this lipstick is beautiful. It is super balmy without compromising much on the pigmentation part. It glides on lips like butter without emphasizing any dryness there’s on lips. Depending on my mood, the number of coats I want can range from 1 to 3. Two coats are more than enough for me but if I’m in the mood to pack more vibrancy, I powder and then, go over with another coat.

Kiko Milano smart fusion lipstick 424, Peony Violet is a semi-opaque purple with pink undertones. It’s not as purple as it looks in the swatch here. The shade is better captured on my arm. It’s a lot different from Kiko Milano Gossamer creamy lipstick 125 Cylamen.

It makes my lips look fuller and feels very comfortable. There’s no heavy feeling with it on. Considering it’s such a buttery formula, I wasn’t surprised to see it doesn’t last long. It does survive light snacks and drinks with some fading but once you are onto a proper meal, you will need a touch-up. Not a problem for me as it’s very easy to re-apply.

Summary:

Kiko Milano smart fusion lipstick 424, Peony Violet feels like a tinted lip balm but with a louder tint. It’s super easy to apply, super easy to re-touch and lasts considerably well given its moisturizing texture. I’ll definitely be picking more shades in this range- particularly everyday lip shades.
