Maybelline Color Jolt Intense Lip Paint Swatches

in Lips, Lipstick on 22/09/17

The jolt seemed to jar every bone in her body when she saw the newly launched Maybelline color jolt intense lip paint.

Yes, that’s how I reacted when I saw these new launches from Maybelline on the counter. I think Maybelline sensed the saturation point of women who were clearly fed up of seeing old wine in old bottle.

Cough! Maybelline color show bright mattes lipstick.. cough!

Here are the swatches for now:

Maybelline color jolt intense lip paint 06, Vamp red: A rich red that should suit a variety of skin tones. I don’t plan on wearing it full coverage but as a stain on my lips and cheeks. For cheeks, I will mix it with some primer and apply. I talked about this amazing trick when I did a post on how to wear lipsticks as blush.

Maybelline color jolt intense lip paint 07, Vanity violet: A medium purple pink.

I was so hoping to grab the shade “Stripped” with the release of this launch in India but a few shades have been left out. Nevertheless, I’m glad they made their way here.

I think it’s too pigmented so I’ll better use them as a stain!
