MAC Sheertone Blush Peaches Review And Swatches

in Blush, Face on 27/03/15

This is my favourite blush till date, after Lakme Cheek chromatic day blush! I mentioned HERE how surprised I am as I have been using it for more than a year and still haven’t reviewed it. Anyhow, moving on:

^
True Colour in Pan!

MAC sheertone blush “Peaches” is a true matte peach shade. It goes well with peach/*ude/coral and orange lip shades. I have also worn it with a coral red lipstick and it paired nicely. Since it falls into “sheertone” category, it is not that pigmented. I can build the shade in layers so that I don’t go overboard with it. The texture is super smooth, which makes for easy blending. Since it is devoid of any shimmer, I don’t have to worry about it emphasizing my pore size.
In winters, it stays on my oily skin for 6+ hours with light fading. However, it has a low staying power in summers. It stays for around 3 hours, after which it starts to fade quickly. So, I need to touch-up. But If I layer it heavily like 3-4 swipes (which I mostly due to my super oily skin), it stays for more than 5 hours with fading. But I still like it so much because it makes my face glow. The effect is just too good to ignore. If you are too fair or dusky, you might want to check it thoroughly before buying it.
Regarding the packaging, it’s plain and simple.

Price: Around Rs.1800 now. It’s Crazy! (It was for around Rs.1300 when I bought it!)
Quantity: 6gm
VCB Rating: 4/5

I always gravitate towards peachy and coral shades. This looks lovely. Nice review.
