Lakme Nail Polish Remover Review And a comparison

in Nails, Others on 10/01/13

How I wish there was a makeup remover in the form of mask that was just meant to be kept on the face for like 30 seconds and came out with all the makeup! Sigh! It would have been much better than me using my swollen fingers to remove make up off my face. Btw, I brought Garnier BB cream 3 days back and would review it in a week 🙂
Coming to this review, Lakme Nail polish remover is something I have been using from past 2 years.
It does its job of removing nail colours decently thought I have to make an effort while removing the nail art off my hands when using this remover. It has a small hole with which it’s easier to control the amount. It’s easily available. It does dries my nails which get fine by using a little oil. Its decently priced for its quality but no so decently priced for me who keeps changing her nail colours at least 2 times a week. In my defence, a student has got other expenses too.
Though I have been using this from the past 2 years, why I suddenly find it expensive is because sometime back while I was in a market, I saw a nail polish remover bottle being sold for Rs. 25. The name is “Blue Heaven” with vitamin -E. It sells for Rs.25 for a quantity of 35 ml as against Lakme nail remover which sells for Rs.60 for a quantity of 27ml! And its performance is same as that of the lakme nail remover. It’s a much cheaper option for me at the same level of performance.
