My experience with The Body Shop lip juicer raspberry ginger beetroot:

The name is a mouthful!

The lip balm comes in an adorable colored packaging which somehow does remind me of a pencil. It’s ideal for keeping in your bag to use on-the-go. You can find the shade name at the bottom of it. There’s just 4gm of product in it.

The texture is quite solid which is why it takes me 4-5 swipes to coat my lips with colour. It does get more balmy though after you have used it for 5-6 times and gone past the top layer. As for the pigmentation, it’s decent. If you have very pigmented lips, I’m afraid the tint is not going to show up. The intensity is buildable to an extent but there still remains a sheerness to it. As compared to the shade strawberry pomegranate aloe vera , the tint is lighter.

There’s no emphasizing lip lines or dry spots with The Body Shop lip juicer raspberry ginger beetroot. Also, I love the natural finish. Since there’s hardly any sheen to it, it gives more a stained effect.

As for the staying power, it’s not very long-lasting. Since it doesn’t set completely, it easily moves. But you will find that the more you re-apply it, the more stronger will the tint get.

All this said, it doesn’t infuse a lot of moisture and hence, I don’t recommend it to those with dry lips. For my non-dry lips these days, I find it adequate.

And oh! It smells delicious!
