MacQueen Serum Tint Lip and Lips: Review, Swatches

MacQueen serum tint lip and lips: Review, swatches

Today, I’m reviewing a product which I bought on one of my mindless scrolling days on eBay and surprisingly, I don’t regret it. Presenting MacQueen serum tint lip and lips which comes in a super cute packaging.

Product description:

Fascinating hot colour.

Natural moisturising care.

Moisturizing / Coloring / Strong adherence powder / No stickiness.

High-moisture content with full of nutrient.

High quality handmade glass bottle.

High-flexible tension brush.

My experience with MacQueen serum tint lip and lips:

Packaging: Straight up adorable! MacQueen serum tint lip and lips comes in a frosted glass bottle with a screw-on cap. It has a doe-foot applicator which picks up enough product in one go. It definitely looks expensive but isn’t. The cardboard box it comes in has most things written in language which I cannot understand. It also had a small leaflet inside.

Texture: The formula is a perfect cross of gel and water as it feels cushiony but is also runny at the same time. It’s quite light-weight and doesn’t feel very sticky. The tint applies evenly without settling into lip lines. It feels moisturizing for as long as it’s there on the lips.

Prepped lips are a must with this tint if you’re going for 2 layers as it can easily emphasize dryness and the color can look uneven. A lip balm underneath makes things easier.

Finish: Initially, it’s glossy but the shine wears off after 2 hours.

Pigmentation: The applicator saturates my lips with a strong punch of color and covers the natural color of my lips almost fully. It starts off with a sheer-medium opacity and with an extra layer, the intensity can be built up.

Staying power: While the tint does transfer depending on what you eat and drink, the color doesn’t wear off fully. Normally, I always like to go for a touch-up even with a lasting lipstick after 5-6 hours as I like a neat and fresh finish. But with this one, I can afford to skip it. It doesn’t look bad after a full meal as the stain it leaves behind doesn’t make my lips look colorless.

Summary:

MacQueen serum tint lip and lips isn’t just a pretty looking product. It also performs well. It goes on smoothly depositing a good amount of color on the lips and lasts for a long time, thanks to its staining property. It’s high-maintenance only in the sense that on dry lips, the color can go uneven and the tint can make the lip lines look more prominent.
