I kept delaying the purchase of this Stila eyeliner until I no longer could. I always wanted a good waterproof eyeliner in a liquid form and my search came to an end with it. Okay! I can’t say “end” because yeh dil always maange more!

My experience with Stila stay all day waterproof liquid eyeliner

Packaging: Stila stay all day waterproof liquid eye liner comes in a metallic packaging case with product details mentioned on it. The actual eyeliner pen has a sleek body. The cap shuts down properly.

Formula: It is a felt-tip style eyeliner. The tip is thin and pointy allowing to make both thin and thick lines. I just wish that the tip was not this long as application would have definitely been much easier then. If you’re a beginner and just starting out with liquid eyeliners, you may face problems with the long size of the tip as it can get a little too flexible.

It has a beautiful formula. The ink comes out properly each time and sets very quickly. In case I need to go for a second layer, I don’t have to wait for too long. It doesn’t pick up the first layer and goes on smoothly.

I purchased this waterproof eyeliner a month back and the ink still hasn’t dried out. If it does, I’ll definitely update the post.

Pigmentation: It comes out as intense black in one swipe only. I have no trouble with getting a good color pay-off from it even on eyeshadows.

Staying power: Very impressive! I have super oily eyelids as well as watery eye corners. Stila stay all day waterproof liquid eye liner is the most well-behaved liquid eyeliner I own. Once, I accidently rubbed my finger on my eyes as they were getting itchy. It did not move even a bit! It stays put even around my watery eye corner area provided I don’t touch it. The only time it flaked from the corners of my eyes was when I tested it during an exercise session, washed my face with it on and deliberately rubbed my fingers on it. Also, I’m glad that it doesn’t stain.

The intensity looks the same even after 14 hours of wear. It is the best waterproof liquid eyeliner pen I own.

If you don’t want to spend this much on an eyeliner and still want a good staying power, I suggest you to try this eyeliner hack for oily eyelids.

Removal part: It does take a lot of effort for being removed. What I do is put some cleansing oil on a cotton pad, place it on eyes and let it stay there for some 30 seconds. Then, I slide it downwards and it comes out easily. I do have to go back to remove any left-over residue. Just like how I remove mascara effectively.

Summary:

Stila stay all day waterproof liquid eye liner is one awesome waterproof liquid eyeliner pen which stays for long even on my super oily eyelids with watery corners. It goes jet-black in a single swipe and is easy to layer too without the formula breaking up. Definitely worth the hype!
