I’m reviewing another product from Kiko Milano today!

Product description:

My experience with Kiko Milano skin trainer CC blur 02 Medium:

Kiko Milano skin trainer CC blur’s packaging reminds me of closeup toothpaste. Even the red coloured tube reminds me of it 😛

Moving past this silliness, it is housed in a box which carries details like description, how to use, ingredients, price, quantity, expiry date, etc. The actual skin trainer cream is in a tube with a twist-off cap. The hole was protected with a tiny seal.

I’ll start with the good things first. It does help create an even layer on skin and blur out imperfections to an extent but not extremely well. It leaves a matte finish on skin and also, helps control oil even when worn just with powder. In this hot and humid weather, I noticed it increasing the staying power of my makeup easily by 2-3 hours.

This really would have been an ideal primer for me if my skin wasn’t in a dehydrated mode recently. It emphasized them even more as a result of which, my foundation didn’t go on even.

If you have an oily skin type minus large pores, I say try it. Because it’s pretty light-weight and controls oil well. I wish I could compare it with Revlon photoready correcting primer but I don’t own it anymore. So, I suggest you try that one as well.

Also, I don’t get the concept of introducing tint in this product. I have Kiko Milano skin trainer CC blur 02 medium and upon blending, it gives zero coverage. Okay, not zero but maybe, like 10%. It hardly matters.

And it has a pretty perfume-y fragrance which I really like although wish it was unscented. As far as skin compatibility is concerned, I have worn it in breaks and it suited my oily acne prone skin.

Summary:

Kiko Milano skin trainer CC blur 02 medium does a good job at covering imperfections and extending the staying power of makeup but if you have oily skin often prone to dehydration, try in the store before you purchase it. Because it does nothing to tone down the look of dry patches.
