Seema Cemera Waterproof Eyeliners: Review, Swatches

Seema Cemera waterproof eyeliners review, swatches

I bought these eyeliners 5-6 months back and was sure they wouldn’t even survive two hours on my super oily eyelids. But I’m so happy that I was wrong! These are budget-friendly eyeliners minus the low quality part.

Seema Cemera waterproof eyeliners Set of 2 (Black and Blue)

I found only this written under the product description part on Amazon 😛

My experience with Seema Cemera waterproof eyeliners:

Both of these eyeliners comes in a pot packaging which is made of glass. So, be careful while handling them lest your drop them. The brush applicator is quite thin but did have one-two uneven bristles which I pulled out using tweezers. You can get a precise application because of thinness and can also go for a thicker line as per your preference.

Seema Cemera wateproof eyeliners go on smoothly and do not emphasize small bumps on eyelids. I was surprised by this! But they do take a minute or two to dry completely. Once set, they don’t move easily. Also, they don’t feel heavy at all.

The only thing I have to be careful with it is to not go for more than 2 layers as it can cake a bit. Luckily, I don’t even have to because it’s nicely pigmented and doesn’t fade out in an uneven manner.

The Black color has a shiny super pigmented formula with tiny silver shimmers in it. The finish looks beautiful but the shimmer specks are a pain to remove as they create a mess.

As for the staying power, they last on my oily eyelids for more than 7 hours. There’s some smudging from my water eye corners but nothing big. Both of these shades are almost water-proof. Even if you rub your eyes vigorously, they are not going to peel or crack. Maybe, move just a tiny bit. I even ran them under running water and both of these eyeliners didn’t move at all. It’s only after I rubbed those swatches like a mad person, did they flake.

They get removed easily with an oil-based remover. Even Garnier skin naturals micellar cleansing bi-phase water removes them easily.

All in all, I’m very happy with these eyeliners. These are one of the best affordable eyeliners available in Indian beauty market. My only complaint is the lack of ingredients list. You don’t know what you’re putting on your eyes.

Price: Rs.199 for both
