Huge Empties Post

It feels like forever since I last did an empties post. So, when two months back, I knew I was close to finishing a lot of products at once, I decided to store the empty containers to come up with this post.

I’m sure I’m not the only one who gets obsessed with a product and then, decides to abandon it mid-way to make way for a new launch. Especially when it comes to lipsticks! Am I right?

Batiste floral and flirty dry shampoo

A dry shampoo is a staple in my summer hair care routine. This Batiste dry shampoo does absorb excess oil, thereby, helping me go a day without hair wash. However, it does leave a white residue if you over spray it.

I’ll look for more options.

L’oreal mythic rich oil mask

I like this a lot!

After my disaster with Keratin treatment, I’ve noticed that following up with a rich mask at least twice a week helps me make my hair behave.

It leaves my hair silky smooth and detangles it. It doesn’t transform my hair drastically but does infuse a good amount of moisture in them without making them greasy. I leave it for at least 10 minutes.

I now want to try a DIY mayonnaise mask. Anyone else done it?

Price: Rs.995 for 200ml

Innisfree real olive cleansing oil

I think I’m on my 3rd bottle right now. I included it in my post on the best makeup removers for oily acne prone skin in India. This cleansing oil removes stubborn makeup effectively without making me put in a lot of efforts. All I need to do is massage this on my face to melt the makeup and then, emulsify it properly with water.

Price: Rs.1,200 for 150 ml

MAC Cleanse off oil

Unlike Innisfree real olive cleansing oil, this one is mineral oil free. Also, it removes makeup quicker. But then, it’s also costlier.

Price: Rs.2,600 for 150ml

Innisfree green tea sleeping pack

Apart from the full-sized product, I have three trial sized version of this product. A light layer of it 2-3 times a week at night keeps my skin soft and hydrated.

Now, I have the new formula of it. Hoping it’s as good or even better.

Price: Rs.1,050 for 80ml

Sugar arch arrival brow definer

This has to be the most affordable and high-quality eyebrow pencil in India. I have the shade ‘Taupe Tom’ which I find perfect for my black brows.

Price: Rs.499

Garnier skin naturals micellar cleansing bi phase water

In my review, I said that I probably wouldn’t be re-purchasing it. But I did. It’s very useful to remove the makeup I have on my arms when I do swatches for blog 😛

That said, it’s still a good makeup remover for face as well as eyes- except for waterproof mascara.

Price: Rs.225 for 125ml

Garnier micellar cleansing water

Mostly, I use it to correct my makeup mistakes and once in afternoon to reduce shine on my face without using a face wash.

Price: Rs.175 for 125ml

Garnier ultra blends mythic olive shampoo

I don’t think I have ever used a shampoo from Garnier before and liked it so much. I was sold by the fragrance when I sniffed it at store. I have used it on oiled as well as non-oiled hair. Both times, it never left my hair over-dry.

Price: Rs.120 for 180ml

Kama Ayurveda bringadi intensive hair treatment oil

I’m sure it works for other people but doesn’t for me. It did nothing for my hair, not even temporary softness.

Price: Rs.575 for 100ml

Kama Ayurveda Sanobar hair cleanser

If you look at the ingredients list, you will notice that it’s not all natural. I’m not very fussy about it as long as the product works for me.

This product didn’t wow me but also wasn’t a total let-down. Even after washing my dry hair for 5 days straight, it didn’t leave them very frizzy. That’s something!

Price: Rs.550 for 200ml

Kama Ayurveda mridual soap free cleanser

Love Love Love it!

This changed the texture of my acne prone skin for better.

Price: Rs.425 for 40gm

Kama Ayurveda sensitive skin cleansing foam

This is the most gentle foam based cleanser I have ever used. It cleans without over-drying my skin. But I want to explore more options.

Price: Rs.795 for 100ml

Johnson’s baby lotion

I wear it mixed with my perfume.

Clinique moisture surge extended thirst relief gels

Super light, blends in a jiffy, actually absorbs rather than just sitting on top of skin and works amazingly well for my dehydrated skin.

This one is now discontinued. I’m yet to try the new version of it but I’ll soon!

MOND’SUB hyaluronic acid cool moisturizing and brightening sheet mask

The only sheet masks I like spending my money on. I usually use one once a week in winters and once in 10 days in summer. I use it especially on days I’m going to wear makeup for long hours and put a lot of layers on my face.

It hydrates my skin, gives it a temporary radiance boost and also, makes my heavy makeup look amazing!

Price: Rs.500 for 4 sheet masks

Dabur Gulabari and Healthandyoga relaxing gel eye mask

I use it every morning/night soaked in cotton pads, followed by the gel eyemask to soothe my burning eyes.

Biotique Bio Papaya tan removal scrub

Ooh! This one was so good!

It helped me lessen the problem of ingrown hair, reduce tan to a considerable extend and get rid of flaky skin.

I may re-purchase it but I’m bored now and want to try something new.

Price: Rs.199 for 75gm

Benefit they’re real mascara

I always keep re-purchasing the mini one. It gives a beautiful wet look to my lashes and lifts them without weighing them down. The effect stays for long hours and it has never smudged on my super oily skin.

But I reserve this only for special occasions because it’s a time-consuming process to remove this stubborn mascara.

MAC powder blush ‘Peaches’

It expired eight months back and now I’m going to take advantage of BACK 2 MAC with the other remaining products.

*Insert evil laugh*

I’m surprised that I didn’t hit on pan on it even after using it heavily for years. This particular colour goes with a lot of makeup looks and gives my face that perfect peachy glow without being loud.

Price: Rs.2,000 for 6gm. When I bought it, it was for Rs.400 something lesser.

L’oreal Paris tint caresse Peach Blossom

I love the colour! I love the staying power! I love how light-weight it is. I love how I used it as a blush as well which is why it got finished so soon.

Will I re-purchase it? Nope. Only because I can shop from my cupboards itself. Also, this is a re-purchase  😛

Price: Rs.1,050

Revlon Ultra HD matte lip color ‘Seduction’

I keep saying to myself that I won’t re-purchase it but I really think I will. Maybe after a month or so when I realize life’s not the same without it.

Price: Rs.1,000 something for 5.9ml

Sugar Eye Told you So! Smudgeproof eyeliner

It’s not smudgeproof but I enjoyed wearing it layered with other eyeliner and over eyeshadows. I love the finish.

The Face Shop floral hand cream

Love the smell! Love the kitty!

Price: Rs.500

As for the nail polishes, they’re all dry now. I hope I mentioned all products shown in the pictures 😛
