3INA Makeup The Revitalizing Primer Review

3INA makeup the revitalizing primer review

Since the time I got MAC face and body foundation, I have been searching for a good water based primer. As far as I can remember, I don’t think that I have ever tried one because all the foundations I own are silicone based.

This is my first one!

My experience with 3INA makeup the revitalizing primer:

3INA makeup the revitalizing primer is the first water based primer I have tried. If you look at the top ingredients list of this primer, you will see a lot of alcohol and sunscreen based ingredients. I thought it’s not going to be good for my oily, dehydrated skin but I was in for a pleasant surprise.

I’d call this more hydrating than moisturizing which is exactly what I needed. The primer has a light beige tint but goes colourless on face. So, even if you have a deep skin tone, it’s not going to look a mismatch on you. The product has a thin texture that gets easily absorbed into the skin but doesn’t do anything more than that. I wasn’t even expecting more.

I don’t think a water based primer like 3INA makeup the revitalizing primer is supposed to extend the longevity of your base makeup. But what it did was help the foundation glide on easily even on the minor dry patches I had on my cheeks which become more prominent after applying a foundation. I like how it doesn’t make my oily skin oilier. It doesn’t has a super lasting moisture effect. So, if you have a dry skin type, you might want to look for something more nourishing.

Also, whenever I test a new product, I wear it continuously for a week to see how it reacts. This product gave small bumps on my skin with continuous usage. Honestly, it’s not a biggie for me as I don’t tend to wear primers on a daily basis.

So far, I’m happy with 3INA makeup the revitalizing primer as my MAC face & body foundation sits nicely on top of it.
