Sugar contour de force mini blush ’01, Peach Peak’: Review, Swatches

Sugar contour de force mini blush ’01, Peach Peak’

Sugar is quickly becoming one of my favourite brands. You will be seeing a lot more products from it in the upcoming posts. I’ll be talking  about Sugar contour de force mini blush ’01, Peach Peak’ today.

Product description:

Transform your skin from forgettable to flawless with a pretty pop of colour from the Sugar contour de force mini blush. Light and infinitely blendable, a kiss of this blush on your cheeks is all it takes to make you look radiant with minimal effort. The long-wearing colour is effortlessly buildable, which makes it easy to create the entire spectrum of looks from sheer to dramatic. Its lightweight, velvet formulation glides on smoothly to give natural looking colour that lasts the entire day. Swipe it on and score that perfectly flushed look within seconds!

My experience with Sugar contour de force mini blush ’01, Peach Peak’:

The first thing that caught my eye is the sleek packaging. The product has a magnetic closing and thanks to the cardboard packaging, it is very light-weight. Also, it doesn’t feel cheap. You can toss it in your purse without worrying about it getting damaged.

Sugar contour de force mini blush ’01, Peach Peak’ has a matte finish and is extremely soft. It blends amazingly well and sits beautifully on my skin even when it’s on the drier side.

The pigmentation isn’t insane which I like because you can build up the color in layers gradually without getting a blob of color on your face in the first application itself. In this cold weather, the blush lasts on my combination skin for 10 hours with minimal fading. Amazing, right?

Sugar contour de force mini blush ’01, Peach Peak’ is a light peachy pink devoid of any shimmers. I wouldn’t recommend this shade for deeper skin tones though as it can look ashy. You can try the other shade in it.

Definitely try it if you’re after a super good quality blush that doesn’t break your bank. I really hope that the brand comes up with more shades in future.

Have you tried Sugar contour de force mini blush ’01, Peach Peak’ or the other shade from it? What are some of your favourite affordable blushes? If someone would have asked me this question when I was 19, I would have said lipsticks. Because that’s what my pocket money allowed- using lipsticks as blush!
