A few things I’m trying!

An hour has gone by and they are still talking.

Didn’t aunty say that she was in a hurry? Didn’t mom tell me that she has an important call to make? Why did my hair conditioner finish today only?

Finally!

They get up from sofa to say goodbye but they’re still talking. Obviously. Now, they’re standing and talking. They have reached the door and are still talking. They say bye. Yay! The exit gate is now open but they’re still standing and talking.

I have two options now. Either leave my room, walk up there, greet her and give no-filter answers to all the annoying questions she will put up or just keep waiting in my room. As thrilling as it sounds to pick option one, I know what I have to do. So, I keep waiting.

They wave their final goodbyes after some 15 minutes. And when that happens, I rush out of my home to buy a new hair conditioner and then, rush to shower after coming back home.

Other than the new conditioner, here are some more things I have been trying out lately:

L’oreal hair spa deep moisturizing conditioner: The only reason why I went ahead and bought it was because L’oreal seems to have discontinued their 6 oil nourish oil-in-cream. Hmph!

Make Up For Ever ultra HD foundation: This one isn’t new in my life but it’s my first time using the new formula  in winters.

Why did they reinvent the formula when they couldn’t surpass it is something I’ll never understand.

Etude House eye primer: Because the last one (MAC painterly pro longwear pot) didn’t work for me. I read the reviews for this Etude House primer on ‘Makeupalley’. This one, I bought some 6 months back. People have compared it to the likes of primers from Urban Decay and Too faced. I’m hoping it does the same for me.

Clinique moisture surge extended thirst relief cream: I want to find out all the hype about it. My first impressions about it are actually pretty good. It makes my makeup look 5 times better in winter (dehydrated skin).

BIOAQUA carbonated bubble clay mask: Because I want to shoot some pictures of myself with it on, wearing a fur ball headband and blowing bubbles. Probably wearing a tee that says ‘conversation starter’.

Auravedic ritual skin lightening mask: I have already used this mask and loved it. Review HERE. So, why have I included it in this post? Because not just the packaging is different, but also its colour and smell. I hope the performance is not different.

Plum hello aloe skin loving face wash: I needed a change from Kama Ayurveda mridul soap free cleanser.

Dior cheek and lip glow: I purchased it from Sephora because Benetint was out of stock. Hoping to sport rosy lips and cheeks in winter.

I wrote this post two months back and got to post it today. Talk about the art of mastering procrastination! Naturally, I have made up my mind on most of the products mentioned here. So, feel free to ask me about any particular product you are interested in.
