Kama Ayurveda Rose Jasmine Face Cleanser Review

Kama Ayurveda rose jasmine face cleanser review

One of the most annoying social media advertisements is the one where the girls with oily skin make a face wash look like a product sent from heaven only because it keeps them oil-free for all day long. No face wash does that, not even any makeup product.

As someone new to the world of beauty, even I expected the same from my face wash. In a bid to control my oily skin, I tried ‘n’ number of face washes and slowly came to the conclusion that my skin is instead getting oilier because of the imbalance in pH level of my skin. One of the many skincare mistakes I made as a beginner! From the time I switched to gentle ones, I’ve seen my skin behaving better. After having an amazing experience with Kama Ayurveda Mridul soap free cleanser, I decided to try another one- Kama Ayurveda rose jasmine face cleanser.

Product description:

A perfect hydrating face wash filled with natural ingredients, which gently and thoroughly clean skin and remove light makeup. Aloe Vera leaf juice heals and smoothens skin while antibacterial Vetiver root and Black Cumin seeds protect from pollutants. Deeply conditioning Jojoba Seed oil softens and rejuvenates skin, minimizes fine lines and promoting skin suppleness. The pure essential oil of Rose has excellent emollient and hydrating properties keeping the skin soft, young and moisturized. The pure essential oil of Jasmine is an effective toner and helps reduce skin marks and scarring with regular usage.

My experience with Kama Ayurveda rose jasmine face cleanser:

I decided to experiment with the smaller variant first i.e. 50 ml and later, stuck to it because of its travel-friendly size. The cap shuts down properly every time and the pump works perfectly in dispensing the product.

I started using Kama Ayurveda rose jasmine face cleanser some 5 months back and have been hooked to it since then. When I first used it, I was having dry-combination skin and it felt slightly drying. But it works amazingly well for oily skin as well as combination skin in summer as there’s no stretchy feeling left behind. I don’t like rose-based scents. So, I’m obviously not a fan of how it smells. The product is transparent looking with a thin and runny consistency. I need 3 pumps of it as it foams mildly. One funny thing is that I find the mridul one to be more gentle than this one. I think it’s because it contains surfactant (Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate).

Now that winter has arrived, I am in search of a very mild cleanser for my dehydrated, combination skin. I did order a new one yesterday. Hope it works!
