Iba Halal Pure Lips Moisture Rich Lipsticks: Review, Swatches

Iba Halal pure lips moisture rich lipsticks: Review, swatches, price

A week back, I had gone to a restaurant where my friends and I ended up ordering more than usual. We had 3 slices of pizza and a good portion of noodles left which we got packed. Given the pizza lover I am, everyone assumed that I would be taking the pizza slices with me. And I was going to! But I don’t know what got into me that day (I think, Bipasha Basu) that I said no to pizza. I didn’t think of it as a big deal until I saw my friend’s expressions. Anyhoo, we left but once I reached home and it was time for dinner, I realized what a grave mistake I made. I dreamt of those slices and instantly regretted not bringing them with me home.

When it comes to bad beauty products; higher the cost, higher the chances of regretting them. No wonder, I’m a fan of budget-friendly products that perform well. My recent favourites have been the Iba Halal pure lips moisture rich lipsticks.

My experience with Iba Halal pure lips moisture rich lipsticks

Packaging: Iba Halal pure lips moisture rich lipsticks come housed in a gold-finish tube with a proper closing mechanism. The shade names as well as numbers are mentioned at the bottom of them. I like the pointed tip of the bullet which allows for precise application especially along the edges of the lips.

Texture: These lipsticks have an ultra creamy formula and melt like butter on lips. They glide effortlessly which makes them a dream to apply. They aren’t too creamy to the point where they settle into the fine lines of my lips. The only gripe I have with Iba Halal pure lips moisture rich lipsticks is that they don’t feel very light-weight.

Shades: “Ruby Touch” is a cherry red and makes teeth appear much whiter than they are. It’s a beautiful red that should suit a variety of Indian skin tones. “Dusky Rose” is a mid-tone peachy brown with hints of red.

Pigmentation: The pigmentation is very saturated as they cover the natural color of my lips almost completely.

Staying power: The shade “Dusky Rose” easily lasts for 3 hours depending on what you eat and drink and “Ruby Touch” lasts for almost 4-5 hours. It leaves a light stain behind which doesn’t leave the lips colorless. I have also noticed that once the glossy sheen goes away, there’s still color left on lips.

I didn’t encounter feathering with any of the shades but given how oily my skin is, I always like to take precautions by filling in with a lip liner first.

Summary:

Iba Halal pure lips moisture rich lipsticks are awesome! They don’t cling to dead skin, don’t settle in fine lines and apply effortlessly on the lips. Both the shades have a rich color payoff and a good nourishing formula.
