PAC Bouncy Primer Review

I have been lacking the motivation to write blog posts of late. The prime reason being 80% of the products I have been purchasing have gibberish claims. They aren’t useless but it is very disappointing when I find out that a particular product doesn’t meet even 5 out of the 10 claims made by it. One of them is this PAC bouncy primer! I don’t want to turn my baby blog into some sort of a ‘negative reviews space’ but someone has to say it.

I had such high expectations from it. Let’s have a look at the claims made by PAC bouncy primer:

A probiotic-based ingredient, and skin revivers which work together to boost skins radiance, promote elasticity, and help hydrate while locking down makeup for fresher, longer, and more flawless wear. Formulating the science of hydration to create a creamy, penetrating primer that acts like an energy drink for the skin by replenishing moisture levels. It can be worn alone for a dewy, healthy looking finish, or under bronzers, foundations, and powders to create the perfect canvas & leaving you with bouncy and healthy skin!

My experience with PAC bouncy primer:

I have oily, dehydrated skin.

It comes in a glass jar bottle with a screw-on cap. The formula of this primer is thick and it has a whipped consistency. It’s best to work in sections with it otherwise the application can go uneven. It definitely minimizes the look of pores and creates a smooth canvas for foundation to spread easily but with regard to oil control, it’s not of much use.

Coming to the claims part,

Does it boost skin’s radiance? No

Does it hydrate? Not at all. In fact, it can emphasize the dryness on your skin.

Does it help in extending the staying power of makeup? Minimally

Does it work as an energy drink for the skin by replenishing moisture levels? It absolutely does not. I was slapping myself in my face in an attempt to wake up from this cruel dream.

Does it create a dewy, healthy finish? No. I had to walk up a couple flights of stairs to make that happen.

I find the primer as average as the PAC beauty blender. In fact, the Miss Claire primer does a better job for me than this one.
