Finding good quality and affordable makeup brushes in India used to be a herculean task. This is the reason why I always used to shop for them from international websites. But not anymore! In the previous two months, I have bought 5-6 makeup brushes sets from Amazon India and I’m surprised by the quality. I definitely have mixed feelings but I’m more on the happy and “didn’t expect this!” side.

I bought this double-ended eyeshadow brush from Amazon India like a month back and have used it 5-6 times till now. It has gone under the ‘makeup brushes bath’ regime and has survived with flying colors! The pictures you are seeing here have been clicked yesterday.
It has a tapered shader on one side and blending on the other. It has a metal handle and the brushes are made using nylon hair. Also, it’s light-weight.
Blending side: It does the job perfectly i.e. buff out the eyeshadow to create a seamless effect. Out of curiosity, I also used it to blend a concealer on my under-eye area and it worked out just fine. There weren’t any streaks because of the synthetic bristles but it was time-consuming as it’s not that densely packed.

With the other ones I own
Tapered shader side: It’s a firm yet a very soft brush. It can be used to apply the eyeshadow all over your lids. It works well with cream based eyeshadows too. It’s not the best size for my small eyelids but works nonetheless. The tip can be used to apply the eyeshadow on your lower lash line and in the crease.

The only two cons I can think of with regard to this brush are:
– The shader side doesn’t pick a lot of pigment in the first go. So, you need to go back and apply more for an even coverage on your eyelids.
– The Rs.40 shipping charges! But even with that, it’s still very reasonably priced.
Price: It’s priced for Rs.330 but has been for Rs.180 since I time I bought it. The total cost comes to Rs.220.
